ViCherub Thermal Underwear for Kids, Boys Long Johns Base Layer Thermals

I had to read so many reviews on Thermal Underwear Sets to decide which one to buy for my son, that I decided to write a review to share my opinion on this product. I have a son with some sensory issues, everything he wears has to feel soft, so certain fabrics, tags and even the seams bother him. He hates jackets, and with the cold weather starting in Texas. I knew I had a challenge...To find at least, thermal underwear that would feel smooth and that he would wear. I am glad I found this one. This set does not have tags, a must for my son. See pictures below. I am impressed and satisfied with the quality of the product, my picky son has worn it everyday, under the clothes, his school uniform or just by itself. I ordered a size “XS” for him to wear under his clothes and a regular “S” so he can wear it on its own. I have washed them so many times in one month and it has kept its shape and color. Super Soft and resistant fabric. Fair price compared to cheap scratchy ones I have bought for my older son in the past, that I couldn’t save for younger brother and I had to throw them away. This one will last. Even with weather ranging from 40 to 76 in one day. He feels comfortable, and plays outside with just a hat as if he had a jackets on. It does not feel too hot either, as he does not ask to take them off after exercising a lot. He wears it all day. And I couldn’t be happier. If you have a picky son like me, or looking for thermal underwear that feels soft and has great quality. Don’t need to read many reviews of different products to find a great one like me, this is the one.

My boy absolutely love these. They love how soft they are. They want to wear them all the time! I was look for something like a silk thermal (at least that is what we called them in the army) and these are a mix of silky feel on the outside and extra soft fleece on the inside. The upper part of the leg is a fitted relaxed loose fit while the bottom is a tighter fit so there is no fighting to keep them down while putting clothes over it or keeping it down under them as they play. The legs have extra material to length as well but bc of the tighter fit on the bottom they do not drag on the ground. It does make for a little extra work to get them on over the feet. I always have a problem with the waistline as my kids are tall but really skinny. They normally need an adjustable waistline on anything they get to make it small enough or I have to have alterations done to the waist. While it is a loser fit on the waist still, these actual stay up, they feel comfortable to my kids and no alterations needed. The top fit perfectly as well with a loose relaxed fit. Over all the only part of these that really hugs my kids as at the ankles so they are super comfortable. They keep that nice light layer of air needed to keep them warm. After washing them the outside only has a tiny bit of pilling but nothing the clothes shaver didn’t take care of easily. So happy with these I came back to buy more color options! Was definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Wonderful underwear set, and I’m so happy that I bought a two-pack! And an update: I’m going to buy another set, because my son is REFUSING to take it off! He wants to use these pants and shirt as his home clothes, he wants to sleep in it, and he wants to wear it underneath his school uniform, so I guess we need the fresh set for every day! First of all - the size: my kid (11 and a half years old) is rather thin, but is somewhat tall, and has long legs, so our problem is that pants are offer too short, so we have to size up. I got a Large, and it sits soooo nice! He tried them on, and refused to take it off, and wanted to wear it as his cozy home clothes. The sleeves and pants are long, the fabric is very light and soft, and warm on the inside. It’s not thick, and will fit under, say, the school uniform. My son is constantly cold in the morning when we go to school - school uniform pants are so thin! - and when he sits on a bench, he complains that he just freezes (although it’s Southern California “freezing”). That’s why we got this thermal underwear set. Works perfectly! I am very happy with this purchase. We might get another one.

So comfortable that my kids wanted to wear them as pajamas. In the almost blizzard, they didn’t complain about being cold which mean that this part of their wardrobe must have done its job.

these were great and pretty true to fit. the material is soft and comfortable for the most part. I do have a bit of a "sensory" kid and the seam on the leg seemed to both him on the shirt (the pants were fine) and we bought the navy. I wouldn't classify the color as a navy, more of a regular blue. As such, they didn't match their navy soccer uniform, but good enough for the cold Michigan fall.

I order size small black two set long johns. I have a 7 and 9 year old. The long johns fit both boys quite well. I was worried I would have to order two sizes but the small worked out perfect. Please note that my boys are on the slender side for their age. Pictured above is my 9 year old wearing the long johns. My 7 year old is so picky when it comes to clothes and he told me that they are so comfortable. Both boys refused to take them off and even wanted to wear them to bed. They even were playing ninjas in them. I had to argue with them to eventually take them off because I wanted to wash them after they had worn them for days, :). We tested them out during a winter hike and both boys were very warm. I need a pair for myself!

These long underwear far exceeded my expectations! Not only are they soft to the touch, really warm and fit exactly as the sizing guide states, but they are extremely well made. I only wish I had bought the same brand for my daughter when I ordered these. The reason that I didn't originally order the girls 2-pack was because I thought she would like girly colors better (Pink & purple). Sadly the other brand I purchased was not nearly as well made to hold up to a kid. The seams are coming undone after just one wear on the other brand. I have washed these ViCherub ones several times & they are just as perfect as the day that we took them out of the package. They are so awesome in fact that I ordered 2-packs for my daughter, my husband & myself for our upcoming trip to Iceland. I would recommend these to anyone that wants top quality long underwear that are soft to the touch & hold up to wear and tear by kids. Will definitely purchase this brand in the future as the kids outgrow the ones they have now.

My son loves these. He didn't want to take them off. Very soft.
