Great value. At first I thought it didn't fit ...
Great value. At first I thought it didn't fit and nearly sent it back but then I bent the side plastic back a little and it slid right in. The snug fit is necessary for a good seal. I like the fact that this part was a whole lot less than anywhere else and I got free shipping with Prime so it was easier to just order, wait 2 days then install easily. I didn't even have to go to the parts store and it cost less than if I had made the trip. I like that.

Fit is nice and snug!
Don't trim it, don't fret over it being tight to go in. Contrary to some people's posts this fits fine. It IS snug and DOES take a few minutes to wiggle into place. Be patient. Don't cut on it. Don't think it doesn't fit. It does. The plastic frame of the old filter has probably relaxed due to heat and age and may become loose. But the new filter is the correct spec. Just "work it" into place and rest easy knowing the nice tight fit will fight dust incursion!

Good quality at good price, slight fitment issues.
Got this filter to replace my old one on my BMW e46. Filter arrives on time in good shape. Includes filter, basic installation manual and even a service sticker you can use. Only issue is that the filter seems to have poor dimensions compared to original as it wont stay in place and would pop back out. I just Held it in place at the same time as putting the cover panel back on. Other than that the filter material is good and very good value for the money.

Seems to be built good, just too big.
So looking over the filter it sounds to be made good. But it's a little oversized. It has the correct notches but I blame fitment on manufacturing and not for a different vehicle because like I said the correct notches are there for the E46 (2000 328ci.)I can get it to fit but it's tight and don't let the all the tabs secure fully.

Great quality, not the greatest fit
I had a problem with fit that the other reviewer had. The quality of the filter looks fine but filter is about an inch wider than the OEM filter. Bought this for a BMW X3

I had the same problem with fit that the other reviewer had. The quality of the filter looks fine but filter is about an inch wider than the OEM filter. The OEM filter also has wings on the side so the suggestion to "just push harder" when the product is 1" wider is silliness. At the time of this review Amazon fitment claims this filter will fit my e46 3 series. It does not.

This did not fit like it should have. I had to trim both sides to make it fit kinda properly. Will deff not buy again.
