First 2 bags I ever ordered were good - just what I'd expected, and just as described. HOWEVER, the third and fourth bag I ordered were practically whiskey, and many beans had unusually high amounts of white mildewy stuff all over them. Though this may have been traces of the cacao's fruit's edible inner meat that had over-fermented, I'd have preferred the cacao beans been washed and fermented for less time to allow the outer shell to be eaten without risking alcoholic liver failure. Cacao makes you inebriated enough without all that!Buyer: your cacao is really great if handled right... clean the beans and keep'm drier to avoid return losses. For now I'll try a different brand to get a different batch from you later....

first time to try these. i was prepared for BITTER but these are SOUR. is that what they're supposed to taste like? barely taste any chocolate. it's a very off-putting taste, not sure if i can get used to it... or if i even want to.would also like to know how to peel them, every time i try the whole thing breaks into tiny pieces. i would like to peel them so that i get the whole bean intact.

These were hard as rocks and tasted like gravel. They are the first beans that I ever bought. After trying them I couldn't figure out the attraction by people who were raving about eating beans in general. Now, I know that I just ordered a poor product. They have great packaging and a great advertising speel...but the actual product is not good.

Excellent Quality, arrived quickly. Just like with organic coffee you can tell the quality by chewing the beans and none of the oils were oxidized which to me says they were taken care of properly from harvest to shipment. I found the flavor to be neutral as opposed to the bitterness you experience when you get your cacao from the store which would mean that the nibs would be old and the oils rancid. This product is of superior quality to anything in any store I've been to around here. Will buy again.

These are awesome and the shipping was fast, highly recommended! I have started throwing a few of the Cacao Beans in the grinder with my Coffee Beans which make an epic brew. A hint of chocolate flavor without the sweetness, a terrific mix and a great product.

I will fix this if needed at a later time if something changes, but so far I love them! They taste way better than my original brand I was using (not as bitter and even have a hint of sweetness to them! Which is a relief as I eat these every day lol) and about 10$ cheaper for the same size bag (that actually seemed to have less in them) so so far I am very pleased! They do look different (not as perfect as the other kind I had previously bought) but it kind of makes it better in my opinion because it shows that they are truly organic and raw cacao beans. :)

Raw cacao was new for me. While the cocoa flavor is there, be aware that there is a pungent tangy flavor first. Not really easy to cover.Outside of that, it's a fine product. No complaints.

Super beans. I roast them in toaster oven for 8 minutes on 375 degrees. Remove them, let them cool and peal off outer skin. I put two roasted beans in with two scoops of coffee, grind and use in French press. Best coffee flavor you could ask for.

queste sono le peggiori fave in assoluto e ne ho assaggiate di tante marche... Sono senza sapore, secche... insomma. Ritornerò a comprarle dai miei vecchi fornitori.

Por el precio que tiene es una gran producto, es cacao natural en su estado mas puro, yo me lo como entero sin pelar ni nada y me gusta.

... Y'en re'na !L'aspect des fèves est irréguliers et j'ai crû, à l'ouverture qu'il y en avait des moisies, d'où -1 star ; mais non, c'est tout bon, sans risque. Ca vient d'Amérique du Sud (Pérou, je crois), pour un distributeur nordaméricain.Ahlala, même le bio est mondialisé.Mais bon, le produit est excellent gustativement et pour la santé, c'est le principal.
