Fence Post Spike Support Holders Drive Down 600mm 3" / 75mm Like Metpost Holder x 1

Reasonably well made.. It does what you expect. However I used these for 1.8m high fence with the spike box proud of the ground and strong boxing day storm broke the base so it all needed digging out again.Used the same post spike to fix the fence, but this time buried the spike/spike box so it is surrounded by around 3 or 4 inchs of postfix cement (sets really fast) or good mortar. The result is now much sturdier.

Not all post holders are like this. Some have no bolt adjusters, some have them on both sides, These are on one corner - far easier to tighten and leaves three sides free. Worth thinking about!

This is an excellent product, but I was sent the 4 inch size when I had ordered the 3 inch spike. Couldn't be bothered to send it back and managed to buy the correct one locally. Impressed by product, but not by supplier.

the last post spikes I received went in well and held the posts in what I thought were a strong upright position. However, one post had an argument with a fox who knocked it down. On inspection, the spike had held fast but the soldering into the top "box" holding the post had given way leaving the spike securely buried in the ground. Got over the problem by knocking 2 thick branches into the soil either side and using ties to secure it until replacement(s) arrived at the weekend. Very prompt delivery from order by the way. Fox steers clear of the posts now (caught on cctv). Checked the latest batch's welding and great. Worth checking.

We are replacing a fence in the front garden and came across this company which after checking reviews as I always do before purchasing anything was extremely confident purchasing from this company they were Excellent value for money far cheaper than most places with quicker delivery times than most places they even turned up extremely quicker than expected so very delighted.very strong sturdy spikes also the customer service are amazing any queries and they were extremely helpful and got back in touch quickly unlike many other companies.i would give 10 stars if I could very highly recommended

These spikes are easier to hammer into the ground than pointed posts and easier than digging holes to put cement in first. They also grip the post firmly by tightening up only two bolts. You do have to keep checking that they're plum every few hits and adjust slightly if they're not before hammering them in any further. As your posts aren't going into the ground they'll last longer than ones that do.
