USB-C Adapter(2Pack)

Introduction: As an owner of modern devices equipped with USB-C ports, I was intrigued by the Nonda USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter's promise of providing a bridge between my USB-C devices and older USB accessories. After putting these adapters to the test with my MacBook Pro 2021, MacBook Air 2020, and iPad Pro 2021, I can confidently say that they have proven to be valuable additions to my tech collection, though they have some minor limitations. Versatility and Convenience: The Nonda USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter offers a convenient and versatile solution for users who need to connect their USB-C devices to standard USB 3.0 peripherals. The two-pack is particularly helpful for users like me who have multiple USB accessories and need simultaneous connections. This adaptability has saved me from the hassle of carrying multiple cables or investing in entirely new USB-C accessories. Seamless Compatibility: I'm pleased to report that these adapters have worked flawlessly with my MacBook Pro 2021, MacBook Air 2020, and iPad Pro 2021, as well as various other Type-C devices in my household. The plug-and-play functionality ensures a hassle-free experience without the need for additional drivers or setup. Connecting my USB-C devices to the adapters feels seamless, and I can quickly access files, transfer data, and use peripherals like keyboards and mice without any issues. Compact and Durable Design: The compact and sleek design of the Nonda adapters makes them highly portable and easy to carry. I appreciate the solid build quality, as they feel sturdy and durable during use. The adapters have survived multiple connections and disconnections without any signs of wear and tear, instilling confidence in their longevity. Reliable OTG Functionality: While some users have reported issues with OTG functionality, I'm delighted to say that I've had a consistently reliable experience with these adapters in OTG mode. I've used them to connect my smartphone to external storage devices and access files on-the-go, all without any glitches. This added versatility has proven to be invaluable during travel and work, allowing me to access files quickly and efficiently. Data Transfer Speed and Limitations: The Nonda adapters generally provide satisfactory data transfer speeds for everyday tasks, such as copying files and working with documents. However, it's important to note that the transfer rates might not consistently match native USB-C speeds, especially when dealing with large files or data-intensive operations. For most casual users, this should not be a major concern, but for those regularly handling massive data transfers, it's worth considering the potential limitations. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Nonda USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter is a versatile and practical accessory that bridges the gap between USB-C and USB 3.0 devices. Its seamless compatibility with various Type-C devices, reliable OTG functionality, and compact design make it a valuable addition to any tech enthusiast's arsenal. While the data transfer speeds may not always match native USB-C rates, the adapters consistently deliver satisfactory performance for everyday tasks. Considering their affordable price, the Nonda USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter offers an excellent value for users seeking to make the most of their USB-C and USB 3.0 devices without incurring additional expenses. Overall, I highly recommend these adapters for their convenience, reliability, and ease of use, making them an essential tool for connecting the past and future of devices in today's ever-evolving tech landscape.

(1/2021 - 6 month update: These are still working great and just ordered another pair for a webcam and external hard drive I had purchased since. No issues over the last 6 months. I wish they were a little slimmer but otherwise I still stand by my review from June 2020.) Fantastic minimal USB solution for MacBook Pro 2020! I recently upgraded my 2015 MacBook Pro to a 2020 MacBook Pro. With that change, I lost all my ports except USB C (Thunderbolt). Anticipating the need for all those ports again, I bought a $60 multi media hub which made my wireless mouse and keyboard start lagging on my external monitor. At first I thought my wireless devices were suddenly buggy or defective but not until I tried this minimal Nonda USB port. After 24 hours of use, the Nonda USB completely delivers with no lag on either my wireless Logi keyboard or wireless Logi Mx master mouse! Super happy! Can’t beat the price though I wish you could have two connected side by side (too wide) and I wish the Space Gray was more accurate in color (see photo). Will be returning the Anker Hub. I’d suggest keeping any usb receiver within direct line of your wireless products! (So have USB adapter on right side if mouse/keyboard on right of laptop. I did try using the mouse on the left use of my laptop with the Nonda adapter on the right and seems to work just fine!

Worked

Works well

They match my Mac color so visually and aesthetically are very good. Some accesories or pen drives won't work so the compatibility is not 100%. The material is also very good quality, they feel solid and they have some weight

This product is great for someone like me who has a few USB-A plug-ins for hard drives and other external media but only has USB-C ports. What I do is plug it in to my USB-A hard drive, and just leave it plugged in, that way I don't lose it and it will always work by plugging directly into my computer. This saves me from needing a larger hub adapter when I am traveling or working in a small space. An issue I thought I would encounter but didn't was the thickness of the adapter and the spacing of the ports. You can, in fact, plug in a Macbook charger while also plugging in the adaptor next to it. It may appear a little wide, but it is not too wide to cause space issues with the two ports. Overall, I love that these work as expected and come in a two-pack, it is a great value for the money and an essential part of my workload.

Love these things. I have several in my bag and around my home and office desks. They are easier to carry around in comparison to a full dongle.

I wanted to find an adaptor that was not made by apple because I was NOT going to spend that much money just to have a USB port. I wanted to try everything else before I had to buy that and i’m going to be honest with you buy these. I saw the price and thought it was too good to be true but it wasn’t they work perfectly fine and it’s not bulky like some of the adaptors I saw. I love how small and compact this is and honestly if you have the room for it in your bag or when you store your mac you can just keep it plugged in. It comes with 2 which is amazing and it’s a very sleek design (i’m the type of person that needs everything to go together and look aesthetically pleasing and not cluttered) the fact that there’s no cords and it just goes right into your mac is perfect!

Company and very good build quality. Much better than the readily available versions.
