Very happy with this and will order more. I wish there was an option to include an oring/locknut kit as well so I didn't have to source them separately, though.

Exactly as described. Well constructed, heavy duty, a necessary element in the pursuit of an electric brewery.

Works great

While I can confirm that these thermowells are a 1/2" NPT thread and will fit inside a standard 1/2" NPT tee, I am underwhelmed with their construction. The main housing is stainless steel and solid enough. But after threading the thermowell into place, I noticed the gland nut was threaded loosely into the thermowell body and as soon as I applied pressure to snug it up, the gland snapped in half where it's threads meet the tightening ring. I'm frustrated by that because I also waited a month to get these out of China through Amazon and...it broke as soon as I tightened it down. Moreover, the size of the cable gland itself seems a little oversize for the temperature sensors I have available. I'm not sure I'll be able to tighten it down tight enough to adequately close in around the sensor I'll be using.So, to make this work I'm going to glue the gland back in place and wrap some electrical tape around the sensor cable to take up the difference in circumference. Overall, I had higher expectations than this but I guesa it is what it is for what I paid for the product.
