Great buys: the three work as designed and advertised
I ordered three of these JETech adapters, trusting they would work as designed and imagined. They work, and I kept all three. Here's how I'm using mine:I have two old/vintage cars in which I installed auxiliary inputs in glove/other compartments years ago. I first installed/plugged in a JETech adapter in each car's aux input, in receiver mode. I paired each with a Microsoft Lumia 950. The Lumia paired to each JETech without a hitch and they connect to the phone mostly faultlessly each time I turn them on.The third JTEch was purchased to serve in transmitter role so I could connect a still-great, but bluetooth-less Zune music player that I use for car trips. The transmit-mode adapter connected to the receive-mode ones without a problem and I am playing the Zune through my car speakers , without a hitch. I recently took a four-hour trip, and the Zune played uninterruptedly westbound. On the return trip I learned how long the battery lasts and how the adapter alerts you: Sometime during the first hour, the receiving adapter started to beep through the sound system at 10 to 15-second intervals -I believe it was. I didn't know what was beeping, but after a minute or two, the music stopped and I knew. So, that JTEch receiver, which had been fully charged, ran about four hours receiving a signal continuously through a transmitting JTECH. It's the only way I "tested" the battery life. Otherwise, I haven't had one drain; I've just been charging the receiving transmitters every 7-10 days --maybe with about three hours of use, but I do not pay much attention.Except for short engine shut-offs (haven't measured that either), the transmitters have to be turned on each time you start up. The very acceptable trade-off for this user is that the units conserve battery by shutting off automatically after being inactive for a few-to-several minutes. I usually remember to shut the adapters off after shutting off the engine, but if I forget, the transmitter won't drain searching for a signal.I said "mostly faultlessly" above because I've found that when I intervene with a transmitter-to-receiver connection, I have had to re-pair my phone or player. So. the receiving transmitters that are installed full-time find my phone automatically -in a couple of seconds, my phone beeps signaling the bluetooth has connected- except when I have used another/different connection the last time. I have not used any other devices, so this may be an issue (having to re-pair) when using any different/varying devices. In any event, I am very pleased with these purchases, and I have recommended these adapters. They are truly great buys, especially because they function as advertised and as I required and expected. My fully-satisfied expectation was that the JTEch bluetooth connections would perform as well as wired ones in terms of functional reliability and sound quality. I still don't have a lot of experience with them, but if I learn anything especially useful or interesting, I will update this review. Enjoy the music...I also recommend an excellent video review by twoitems.com which turns up first through a Bing --> videos search for "JTEch bluetooth adapters". It helped me in his clear presentation of the sequence to follow for you first connection. It mostly meant that I did not need to use the provided documentation, which may be as excellent or better, but is in the smallest print in existence. Thanks, anyway, JTECH, and thanks Amazon.Update: I've found that when I forget the phone in the car, the Bluetooth connection is maintained "indefinitely" so that the music resumes when I turn on the ignition. I've done this for at least 30-minute intervals.

Big lag in play-back
Was hoping this would be the solution to run audio wirelessly from my television to a bluetooth receiver/player. I checked it quickly using an iphone to confirmed it worked - which is did. However, when I finally set it up with a video source, I was dismayed to disocver there is a significant lag time in the processing and broadcasting - at least half a second. So if you hooked it up to a television and used it to play the audio from a headphone jack to a bluetooth speaker, the audio will be about a half second behind the video. Because of that lag, it also cannot be used to go wireless with any musical instrument.Although it has an unacceptable lag for any purpose that needs accurate timing or instantaneous playback, I suspect it works just fine for strictly audio sources. I could see this as a way to play old mix tapes from an older walkman. Or vinyl from an old tube amp (yeah, I know, why would you run signal through a tube amp only to play it back electronically. Silly, I know - but Im just using it to illustrate the point). Or any source that is just a box that plays music. I'll find a use for it sometime soon Im sure.

Works great - I connect theJETech Bluetooth as a transmitter from my TV's headphone/audio output, and then I pair it with Bluetooth headphones in my bedroom. The transmitter uses USB to keep it powered, and I can keep my Bluetooth headphones plugged in as well. The headphones I use are HV 800's.The neat thing is that the headphones have their own volume adjustment. So your TVs volume can be up or down and you can hear it though your headphones either way.I suspect that all or many TVs work like this. You can test to see if your TVs vume setting is independent by plugging in a regular set of wired headphones. If they're plugged in, and the headphones volume doesn't change with TV volume going up down or off, then they're independent. The only bummer was that if I turn off my headphones they don't seem to reconnect. That could be me though, and I could be incorrect on that. Pushing the button on the transmitter and Bluetooth reconnected them, but a guaranteed way would be for me to just keep the headphones plugged in since they stay by my bed anyway. But the device works well, and I can turn the TV'S main volume up or down if someone else wants to hear.

Highly Highly Recommend!!
I purchase this product so that I could use my Bluetooth connection on my phone to play music through my stereo receiver that does not have Bluetooth built-in, I used to use a connected Bluetooth speaker to my receiver to play my music and I would always have to mess with the auxiliary plug in the back of the speaker and then mess with the volume and the song never came out quite right but with this small little handy device about the size of a lighter I just plug the auxiliary plug and power source together and instant music no more adjusting the auxiliary Jack or messing with the volume and plenty of crystal clear sound now, the only thing that I am sorry about is that I did not purchase this handy little device a lot earlier in life!

Synched easily with TaoTronics TT-BH06 bluetooth wireless earbuds
Synched easily with TaoTronics TT-BH06 bluetooth wireless earbuds, and has very good sound quality. Have used it with both my TV and my desktop computer now to good effect - to broadcast audio to the earbuds. For me it makes a great solution for watching (and listening) to TV silently, or walking around my condo while listening to a show. Signal begins breaking up for me about 25 feet away in my kitchen - where a wall partially blocks line-of-sight to the TV - slightly shorter than I need. I suspect this is because the cord to plug into the mic port is very short - less than 5 inches - so I can't position the unit so that the TV itself does not impede the signal. (It also works fine a few feet from the TV, but through a wall in an adjacent room). Also the directions are simple enough but they are micro printed in text so small you may need an elf to read them for you. Overall probably deserves 4 stars from me -- made it 3 because the micro printing of the directions is just dumb.
