Good product, hardware for max 1" thick board
The length of the bolts that mount the climbing hand holds are only long enogh for a 1" thick board. Also the head of bolt is a metric Allen head. A very large metric Allen wrench is needed which i didnt have. Threw away the kit bolts and used 5/16 hex bolt 2.5" long for a 2x board with a 5/16 washer and 5/16 nylock nut. Use the kit washer on the hex head end of bolt. 1/2" 12pt thin wall socket will fit inside hand hold and onto bolt head. Drill one hole n mount hand hold. Then drill second hole n bolt.

Great for DIY Climbing Wall โ Sturdy and Easy to Install
We used this kit to build our own outdoor climbing wall for the kids, and it turned out great! The rock holds are sturdy and well-made, and everything was easy to install. The variety of grips and the included rope and handles add a lot of fun and challenge to the wall. Our kids love it and itโs holding up well so far. Highly recommend for any DIY backyard play project!

Nice set. No install instructions.
Love the colors. The rock wall nubs feel solid. No instructions provided on how to install or what tools were needed. No recommendation on size hole to make or how to tighten the nuts. The rope is very slippery and we had to purchase an anchor to attach. The handles are hollow and Iโm not sure how long they will last in the elements.

Easy to install and great for indoor climbing wall
Used these on our sons' indoor fort and it turned out great! They are killer for our bare adult feet so I wear shoes when I climb these playing with the kids, but the kids had no issue at all. The colors are bright and the quality is great. My 10 year old and I installed these ourselves.
