Exactly what I was looking for
I have installed similar products before so this wasn't any trouble for me. I wanted to extend my wifi into part of the house that had a weaker signal. I was looking to add an access point and for me this did the trick as I have wired ethernet connections in various rooms which I could use. It's only be installed for a week but so far so good.

Good home wireless access point (WAP)
I needed better wi-fi coverage on the 2nd floor of my house because my main wireless router/gateway was in the basement. I connected it with a CAT6 cable and it was relatively easy to set-up and get fully operational. Seems to work great in my home environment where there might be up to 8 to 10 devices connected to it at one time. I decided to use a WAP after trying a number of wireless extenders. A WAP provides much better performance over an extender but you do have to run a CAT6 cable. The main drawback with a WAP is that you are creating a 2nd wi-fi network so you will need to select which network you want your device to connect to. Note that the manufacturer recommends that the 2 antenna's should be positioned at right angles to each other, not parallel like it is shown in the picture.

No reboot option in GUI
There is no option to reboot the router from the GUI to try and resolve stability and connectivity issues. This is not suitable for installation anywhere in which it is not immediately accessible. It's range is embarrassingly bad and it is not a reliable access point. This is a catastrophic failure of design. Congratulations Netgear, you've engineered e-waste.

Frustrating
Had it for awhile. Seems if you want to disable the 2.4 it dissables both channels getting alittle frustrating. updated firmware that was to solve this. And now passed support unless i want to pay

OK
Interface is basic, seems to be 20 years old. I had sporadic connection issues, may be my devices.
