VDP SH1115 Shelf-It' Overhead Storage

So,The product comes in 3 pieces, 2 brackets & the shelf that holds it.You've got to remove the factory visors, install the shelf brackets, then install the shelf.To be fair, the brackets mount properly, it's the relocation of the visors that ruin fit and finish.The shelf Is not engineered for retention of the visors swinging down, and one side of each visor dangles.They're just held in place on 1 side.I'll keep the shelf and mod it so it does jiggle while driving.I recommend if you want something factory looking, go to the factory/dealer

Shelf is great. Mounted up the sunvisors and kit was irritating how they fit. Ended up putting the sun visors on the shelf in the garage and cutting up 2 pieces of diamond plate to cover the mounts for the visors. if you like your sun visors and aren't a sunglasses type. Don't get it. Otherwise its AWESOME

Not too happy with it. First one came, box was destroyed, all hardware missing, oh well that happens. Replacement came, it's flimsy. the mounting screws extend past where they secure the visor to the shelf. There is no mount for the inside of the visor, which causes the visor to vibrate some, nor is there a cap to cover the hole created by removing the inside visor mount. For $100, I'm just not too happy.

Does not fit very well wanted to touch does not leave any room for Stuff certainly does not leave room enough for a rifle waste of money

This Item does not fit a 2002 Chevy Suburban LS. After trying to install it, then taking it no a shop to see if they could figure out why it could not be installed we called the manufacture. My 2002 Chevy Suburban has rear air controls and the double visors. Amazon says it will fit the suburban but the manufacture says otherwise. Now its been to long for the return and I'm stuck with it.

In general I like VDP's shelf-it, I have one in two of my other vehicles but you have to get one specifically made for your vehicle, this was not the right shelf for my vehicle.
