I used scotch tape to wrap the frayed ends and then feed the rope through the holes, it was an easy and inexpensive workaround.These are cute shelves for small, lightweight items.

Each end of the ropes are frayed. Do not go into small holes of shelves. I had to dip each end of the 4 ropes into wax to get them to go into the holes.

The rope provided was incredibly short given the way the pictures show them hanging. Not to mention the rope was to big and the holes to small to string the rope through. It was a headache. Luckily I had much thinner twine I used to hang the second one. The actual shelves are ok quality but the execution to hang was lackluster. We used these in a booth for decor at a convention.

The media could not be loaded.  These are alright. They seem sturdy enough and they are super wonderful and cute shelves once they’re put up. The other reviews are right, the rope is super hard to get in. In my video I show how you can put them in (easier) than dipping them in wax or drilling a bigger hole. You just twist it as tight as you can and twist it into the hole, it will eventually twist out onto the other side. These would be a super cheap DIY project, but I’d rather just order the supplies right to my door haha.

The media could not be loaded.  Decent product, unfortunately it did not come with a hang holder for the item to be a fixed to on the wall. It just feels incomplete. I did however, repurpose an aluminum hang I wasn't using and it did the job.The board is lightweight as expected and is more for small weighted items like a Potter small plant etc. Does what it should I guess.Value wise... I believe I was shortchanged out of a valuable accessory. The seller should include such valuable accessory.

Looks great I love them. Were bigger than I expected. Only issue is the holes were to small for the string to get through so I literally had to use scissors to stretch the holes for it to fit through.. other than that i love them and will be ordering more!

These came without the ropes in the wood. I had to excruciatingly figure out how to get the ropes for the eating bitty long Holes without tearing up the rope. My sons are nice they're not splintered at all I just would prefer it to already come established.

Really want to give this 4.5 stars for the following reasons....If you expect to put something large or heavy in this you will be disappointed. They are definitely meant for smaller, more decorative items. I didn’t account for hanging it against a wall so I should have shortened one rope slightly so that it’s more even - that part was a little tricky. There was one rope that frayed and I had to cut it but the general aesthetic is good. I do kind of wish the ends of the rope were maybe burned or had glue or something to make them a little less likely to come apart. That part is a little lower quality. Overall I think they did the job for what we needed for a good price.
