Dickie Toys Holiday Camper Van Vehicle Playset

We are so happy with this toy. We looked at several toy RV's- Lego, Playmobil, something with zombies and I think one more. I'm so glad we chose this one. It looks kind of cheap inside, but my son doesn't notice that. What he does notice are the 2 (3?) windows and 2 doors that open, the opening pantry door, sliding bathroom door, closing potty lid, swiveling kitchen faucet, reclining front seats, removable roof, fold-away stairs, extra storage drawer, opening hood, luggage rack, luggage compartment with folding table and chairs, removable folding ladder, and adorable bicycles with real steering and moving pedals (not attached to chain). He is so happy- it's his favorite Christmas present (and he got a Zoomer kitty and a tablet!).Now, my guy is not a rough and tumble boy. He's very careful with things (although he drops them). He doesn't send cars racing and banging down the hall or anything. So this RV is pretty safe with him. But if your kid is a bit rough, it might break. There are so many moving parts, and they're so tiny.Overall, I think this has a lot of bang for the buck!Plan Toys/Hape/Melissa &Doug doll house dolls fit inside. They're a bit big, but they work-sit in chairs and lie in the bed. Playmobil people fit, too. They're a teeny bit smaller than the scale of the RV, but they work great.

Pretty nice toy. Basically all of the door open, the top comes off, has a slide on awning, picnic table, bikes with rack, picnic chairs, etc. It has a flywheel so you push it and it keeps going. My 4 year old son loves to play with it. It seems pretty durable except for the bikes. When we got it, one bike was already broken and the other bike broke the next day. So, pretty lame that way; you cant really make small models of full suspension bikes that durable, so I was basically expecting them to break in a few days and so I'm not really that disappointed. The other parts seem like they'll last, although the wing mirrors seem borderline. Seems about the same build quality as the Bruder stuff (like fire engines, dump trucks, etc.) Both made in Germany and both have small parts or borderline quality but overall pretty solid. Maybe German kids are more careful with their toys...

best toy I bought in years. almost all door open. under the bike rack is a shelf that opens to put another bike or in my case a motorcycle. if you have gijoe/star wars figs they fit great inside at the table in chairs and in the bed. not frail or cheap this toy has enough girth to take a beating. the company that made this has hit a homerun. I heard the have made more of these in other colors and I intend to get a couple more. I love this thing so much that when I find the others I will pay for the fastest shipping available. kids and action figure collectors will love this thing. everything it comes with actually has a place that it goes in and theres room to add more stuff if u have stuff to add. lots of compartments to just put things in. 100/100 winner winner chicken dinner,im going to go play now.

Great concept, there are so many accessories, really well thought out. The storage doors don't seem to stay on very well when my son plays with it, and the plastic on the bicycles is so thin, they broke as I was getting them out of the packaging. Despite all of that, my son absolutely loves the toy, and is thrilled that it has so much of what our RV has.

Got this for our son at Easter. He loves it! Tons of details. Probably his most popular toy along with his big Tonka trucks. Possibly not great for rough play. Ours hasn't broken, but it has a lot of small plastic parts so its probably not as durable as some of the more basic models that have less details. It seems like a quality product.

Of all of the products I've bought in the last year or so, this one has been the best value. It has held up to a 1.5 and 2.5 year old for 6 months now. It is the perfect size, has so many movable parts and the price is excellent. Would buy again at the first opportunity it was needed. (I should note that the recommended age is higher than that of its current users. However, we packed away a few of the movable parts for future use and at those ages, they are always supervised anyway.)

My grandson Evan Loves this truck. He was fascinated by all the little compartments that open and close. In no time he had the camper open and all his dirt bike "men" were soon living in there. Carrier on the back allowed him to attach his toy dirt bike to the back of the camper. He is totally into his camper. The scale is great and fits right in with his other vehicles. Very sturdy and seems to be holding up to his rough play.

My 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son love it! They play with it daily and really enjoy playing RVing, it is similar to our RV although we have an older model, it lets their little minds imagine driving an RV and camping as we do as a family. They just love it to death.It is built pretty well, although the latter on the back has broken off, no big deal for little kids who don't really worry about it.
