I just purchased a mattress topper that I will use occasionally when I have guests over. The topper itself is a great idea but storing it ,while not being used, was going to be a problem. All you have to do is put the item inside, make sure that the Ziploc is completely sealed and then attach the pump and start taking out the excess air. As you are pumping the air out, you can see how quickly the volume of the bag diminishes. Once you detach the vacuum, no air will get in there. There is a little cap that you screw on the pump vent to make it airtight. I appreciate the fact that bag material appears to be one that will allow it to be used over and over again. This particular collection comes with a variety of sizes. So I went a little vacuum bag crazy and started to use it on other things, such as a down comforter, towels, and bedsheet sets. All of those items now fit comfortably in just one shelf. Since these bags can also be used with a vacuum cleaner instead of the included pump, I gave half the bags to a good friend and gave her the pump. She was over the moon with these. Overall, I think you can order these with confidence. They do the work they were designed for. And for the number of bags you get for the price, it’s a win-win.

You get so many bags and for such a cheap prices. The bags can hold a ton of things, they are thick, they don't rip or open by itself. They are perfect for traveling, packing, moving, storage. Must buy!!

I managed to fit extremely bulky, thick knit sweaters and large blankets with room to spare. Excellent Compression: As you can see from my photos, it compresses items down to a fraction of their original size. It creates so much extra space in my closet. Good Quality: The plastic feels thick and durable, and the double-zip seal holds very well without leaking air so far. Points to Consider: Manual Pumping is Tiring: The included hand pump works perfectly, but doing it manually is definitely a workout and takes some serious arm strength, especially for the larger bags. If you want to save your energy, you can use a standard household vacuum cleaner to suck most of the air out in seconds, and then use the included hand pump just at the very end to get that last bit of air out and create a perfect vacuum seal! Overall, I highly recommend this set. It does exactly what it promises and keeps everything neat and dust-free. Just be prepared for a bit of a workout if you only use the hand pump!

I am impressed. Came with a hand pump, which takes less than a couple minutes to flatten them, I am going on an airplane then a cruise so I am trying to limit bags. Just wish I could by the small bags alone they are perfect tsa carry on size

These worked so well. Much more than I was expecting them to. Easily vacuumed with the pump. Just put the stuff you want in it, seal, pump and store. The size variety is quite nice as there is lots of different sizes. Everything is clear so you can always see what it is in it.

I bought these for my daughter who is about to move cross country to college and is flying. She has quite a few more bulky items like blankets and winter gear. We are using these bags to shrink these items in volume so we can put them in checked bags and let her store them in her dorm room until the appropriate season. I love that the set has a handpump included and it is very easy to use. Just put the items in the bag and use the pump to suck out the air. It'll be a great space saver for her in her small dorm room.

Great in concept but less so in execution. Several of the bags came with leaks so they weren’t usable.

In the picture is 15 xs adult hoodies & jackets that were packed up in March and it is still air tight. I absolutely love these things but especially Amazon's brand. For several reasons. I have tried quite a few different brands and always have the same problems. They either end up re-inflating over time or the end up getting a hole somewhere. I used Ziploc brand for a long time and then they started making them as thin as their baggies. Which I understand why. Every bag that I had I was able to use once. That's when I tried Amazons brand. These things are already not the cheapest so I want them to last as long as possible. I have ordered this brand several times over the last couple of years and I have not had ANY issues with them. I still have the 1st ones I ever ordered that I have reused multiple times. I have most of them inside but I do have quite a few in our storage closet on the deck. Some of the ones outside are in plastic totes and some are not. I have never had any issues with mold, mildew or critters getting in them when sealed properly. I put a dryer sheet in each bag and they always smell just as good as they did when I put it in there. I see where people have complained about them re-inflating. If you do not overfill them you will not have that issue. Also the little white slide that closes them does not always fully close them. I have not found 1 brand that it does so it is not just this brand. I always slide it, go back over it with my hand (like you do with a Ziploc baggy) and then go back over it with the slide. IF it starts to re-inflate you missed a spot on the zipper. I've always used my vacuum but it does come with a pump if you do not have a vacuum. These things are super easy to use and will last for years if used correctly.
