This can handle an enormous amount of fruit and vegetables. This summer I’ve dried over 80 pounds of apples, 40 pounds of tomatoes, and 20 pounds of plums. Plus bunches of herbs. Easy to use and clean.I’ve had many food dryers and this far outshine any others.This has everything you need. Most food dryers have one or more of these problems:1) too hot (never use a stove. Wastes a lot of energy. Worse it’s too hot and loses all taste and nutrients)2) don’t handle enough fruit/veggies3) don’t have timers and adjustable temperature4) not enough air flow to remove moisture5) too much airflow giving temperature regulation problems (and wasting a lot of energy. Remember this thing will be running for 8 to 14 hours.)6) poor temperature regulator. Too hot and the food doesn’t taste as good and nutrients are lost. Too cold and the food might still be moist inside. This allows for bacterial growth.7) flimsy. You will probably be storing your dryer for 6 to 8 months every year. It needs to last a long time.8) design. Square is much easier to store than some odd shape. Also takes up less counter space.9) cleanup. Many dryers are hard to clean. This can easily induce bacteria into your food if the dryer doesn’t have an accurate temperature controller.The only two issues I’ve had with this machine (minor issues) are that the temperature setting is in centigrade and that the plastic keyboard marker is coming off. The manual tells you proper temperature and time settings or you can look it up on the web. I have not yet contacted the seller about the plastic keyboard overlay. Worst case I’ll just use a little silicone based glue.

Updated Review 5 Stars Instead of 4:I’ve added some photos, dried out a bunch of hot peppers from my garden. Currently dehydrating a bunch of canned fruits. Product works like a charm so far. Only complaint I have is that it only displays temperature in Celsius. Easy fix with a quick calculation or if you suck at math, use google. They should given the product an option to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. However, I reiterate, the product works like a charm thus far and deserves 5 stars despite the Celsius complain. Good Stuff!Old Review:Bought this to dehydrate the food I don’t eat right away from my garden. However, I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet due to the current pandemic. I will update this review after I use it for the first time (give me a few days).I can say that it is rather big with many shelves for food items. Having a cabinet or a shelf to store it on will help as you probably won’t want to leave it out on your countertop unless you are using it every couple days. It does look sleek and professional though, I wanted to purchase a big sized dehydrator because I live alone and have a rather big garden. I’m giving the product a 4 star rating for its looks and the fact that it is exactly what I wanted in regards to size. I will update this review with photos and adjust the star rating accordingly after I fill it up with a bunch of Herbs and veggies.

We just started drying our own meat treats for our dogs. We had a dehydrator in the past that was noisy and cheap so we opted to go for a better quality appliance without totally breaking the bank. This unit fits the bill! It is quiet, well constructed with metal shelves and a drip tray on the bottom. When the trays are lined with parchment paper there is no mess to clean up. We put it in the basement, but it is honestly quiet enough that it wouldn’t bother us at all in the kitchen (I just don’t want my dogs to drool all over the floor lol). Although I don’t know how it will perform long term we are very happy with the purchase.

Love the product and it is great.. would have given it a 5 star but the only thing I did not like is the door keeps opening a little.. it is meant to have air coming in around it but it actually opens up just a crack.. A very small piece of 100MPH tape fixed that and I am happy with the quick fix.. I have made fruit that was just amazing and beef jerky made for a king. Don't let me turn you off on the door, this product is GREAT and I love it.... And the auto timer is just icing on the cake.. set it, and forget it.. come back and tons of great goodies all done

After I got more time to stay at home, I wanna make something easy and fresh for my family. This product is really easy to use. Don't need any skill on cook. Just slice everything, leave it on tray and after few hours, BOOM! Home made jerky, fresh dry fruits, and I even made supper healthy potato chips and dry mushroom! There is multiple layers, so I use each layer for different stuff. I use to have an old one, plastic made, and broke in few months. But this one is made by some kind of metal, pretty well made. I saw some people got the one with plastic trays, but I guess I am the lucky one, I got exactly the one that shows one the picture. Everyone in my house love it. Even my dog love the chicken jerky I made. And the most important is I know everything comes out from this dehydrator is fresh and healthy.

Purchased in 2019 and it worked great until this last round. It appears there was an issue with the heating element, the unit overheated and melted / warped all 6 trays. There is no way to purchase replacement trays and I also don't know if I trust the unit to run it again. I wish this was better made. It would be a superior product. The size is perfect. Unfortunately, it is so poorly made it does not last.

I am very impressed with this dehydrator. While it is my first, so I don’t have a way to compare to others but I will say I did my research leading up to this. The first dehydrator I ordered was from a different manufacturer, but was lost in transit and then went out of stock. I was hesitant to spend so much on a “brand-less” dehydrator but this one is incredible and well worth the cost. I have already made jerky, dried greens, marshmallows, crackers, etc. and they’ve all turned out perfectly and in or under the suggested time. The capacity is also really great - I was able to fit 5 large zucchini on only 4 trays.
