I’ve been really happy with this smart lock. After checking out a bunch of keyless options, I chose this one, and it’s been great. It’s been working perfectly for 2 years now, and I’m even thinking about upgrading to the NFC version. In all that time, I’ve only changed the batteries once — probably because I mostly use the physical keys. Setup and installation were super easy, and I just updated the firmware without any issues. Some people mention that Auto Unlock triggers when you walk nearby, and that it auto‑locks after a few seconds. Both features can be turned off in the settings, so it’s not a problem. The app is simple too: pick the lock, tap unlock, done. I also bought the black handle, and it looks great with the lock.

this is an excellent product works exactly if not better than described. Easier to install easy to operate very reliable and the company has excellent customer service.

The lock was easy to install into the holes for the original lock. The issue was connecting the downloaded app to the lock and programming it. At first it did all kind of strange things. It clicked as if locking and unlocking, refused to connect to the app, and didn't respond efforts to enter codes following the instructions for doing it as a stand alone. I would enter a code and when tried outside, the lock would unlock with any numbers entered. Even tried resetting a few times to no avail. After a couple of hours, I contacted the company and they responded quickly with a number of suggestions. I kept working with it and finally the app indicated the lock had connected. Setting it up from There was pretty straight forward. Once codes were entered, it seemed to work properly. It I nice to be able to open thr door without bothering with a key each time. It has a lot of features that are nice to have. I was impressed with the company, they appeared genuinely ready to help and to resolve the issues. I like the lock, and marked it down one star due to issues I experienced programming it. Also, the instructions were not as clear as they should be.

I purchased this lock around 5 years ago and have loved not carrying keys around. The ability to add temporary codes for pet-sitters is pretty awesome as well. Not worrying about the kids carrying it losing keys is fantastic too. When I bought a new house, before I moved in, I purchased two more of these locks so that both exterior doors were covered. One of the motors burned out. After doing the basic troubleshooting from customer service, they sent a new motor within a couple of days. I was extremely pleased with the reps and company. While I was waiting, I had to use the backup key which was only a minor inconvenience. As someone who works with technology, I'm glad this lock is not connected to the Internet. The Bluetooth based app is easy to use for setting up codes and rarely need to be used otherwise. Checking if the doors are locked from bed is a nice feature.

Works every time! Super important that it works flawlessly, and it does, The app is great for remote entry of guests and staff. I can add folks o th the fly, great feature! I'm very happy theres a "dumb" key, if all else fails. Its extremely durable and rugged..

On August 8 2024 I purchased the ULTRALOQ U-Bolt Smart Lock, 5-in-1 Keyless Entry Door Lock with App Control, Keypad Deadbolt, Auto Unlock, Auto Lock, Smart Door Lock, Smart Locks for Front Door, ANSI Grade 1, Black, doesn’t have the fingerprint feature and though I certainly know how to install, but I’m on disability and I have a very bad back and I just can’t do those things anymore and I couldn’t get anyone over here to install it for me so on November 8, 2024 I purchased the much more expensive one that has the fingerprint in the center of the lock and it took many months for me to get my brother cause he’s very busy to come over and install it for me, but he finally did it and it lasted less than six months I could turn the knob to lock and unlock it, and I changed the batteries and I tried to see if I can clean positive and negative terminals inside anyway they weren’t dirty. It was like brand new in there so I changed the batteries about three times and got the same results. The keypad stopped working and like I said I could manually lock it and I hate giving the keys to my son and my wife so I didn’t even have to get in keypad if you pushed on it it seemed like it was pushing into the inner side of the housing, but nothing worked. The only thing that worked is after a minute or two minutes whatever it is, it would try to lock itself, but the red light would come on, and it would beep and that’s all I got. I spent all that money just because I wanted that one feature and it lasted six months. I’m very disappointed to say the least I did have my brother come out and switch the other brand new lock that I mentioned above into it and so far it’s worked, but it’s depressing every time I go in and out the door because I spent over $170 to upgrade and it wasn’t even six months. I know I said it was six months but it wasn’t. I could’ve sworn I bought a warranty from Allstate off of Amazon, but I just can’t find it so I’m screwed. I can’t make them replace it. They’re gonna do whatever they’re gonna do probably won’t be if they’re like most companies then again I’ve had some companies surprise me as soon as they saw my post. They contact me immediately and sent me a new one, but I’ve had a lot more disappointments than I’ve had surprises about a lot of electronics. I mean just with this company inside of a month about two locks I spent $50 on that plug-in bridge and I feel so sick about it. I honestly just wanna buy another lock take that one out of my door and throw it out in the road shouldn’t spend your money to upgrade and then it breaks down. I sent him my email when it happened, but I never heard back so I’ll just go with the assumption they don’t care I would rather keep my money and make it right anyway I wasn’t doing anything this morning so I decided I would finally post this First off I have to contact my brother and find out what he did with the device but he probably put it out in the garage somewhere somewhere. I don’t know. If you're having issues with your lock don't immediately get angry or return it or write off the company. Reach out to their customer service! Even if it's been months since you purchased it. All of their products come with warranties varying from 6 months to multiple years. You can find out what kind of warranty and how long you have by going to their website. Our lock was almost a year old and the gear mechanism inside that turns the deadbolt, stopped engaging with the deadbolt gear. So the lock just would not lock on its own no matter what I tried. I thought I was SOL and had to buy a new lock because it had been more than 60 days since I purchased it from Amazon. But I decided to reach out to their customer service, found out I had a warranty, and thought "cool maybe they can at least troubleshoot it". But, they did way more than that! I'm pretty sure my warranty was limited, but they didn't make me jump through any hoops, They only asked I do a few trouble shooting steps, and it only took 2 email replies For them to determine That I was eligible for a full brand new replacement. they quickly shipped out an entirely new lock, every last piece of one. I offered to send back the original and they told me not to worry about it. The were super responsive, super kind, super helpful, super amazing!! I could go on and on. The lock itself works phenomenal also. I don't have a bridge so it never seems to integrate with alexa, but the app rarely lags when I use it, I cab lock my doors from 100 or more ft away from the house, and the keypad lights up which is double awesome. The materials are well made and durable and just all around amazing. Thanks you ultraloq!

Its never convenient when something breaks. Ever. But When I had an issue with this product they just asked the usual proof of purchase docs and a video of whats going on. I had two issues (one with the main part of the unit, a year later the deadbolt itself cracked). Both times they sent out a replacement part and it was there in a few days. It's technology and computers... not just a lock and key. So don't throw away your old lock in case you need to put it on for a week while the new part comes in. We have 6 kids and two adults going in and out of this door all day so for everyone to not have to worry about carrying a key (mostly the kids remembering) it's totally worth it. Even with the two issues I had I'm still really happy with it. Like most technology, I didn't realize how nice and convenient it would be to have this until I did. I walk out of my house with literally just my car keyfob... Doesn't sound like much but once you get used to not having a pocket full of keys you don't want to go back.

Product was easy to install. It did fail within the first year but their support was absolutely amazing to deal with and sent a replacement out no questions asked. Will definitely buy this brand again.

The wireless locking function does not work, works well with manual locking however will have to send the item back which has left me without a deadbolt on the door

I have been using your product since May 2024. While it has generally worked well, I’ve now experienced a very serious issue that raises major safety concerns. After about one year of usage, the device has occasionally shut down entirely without warning. I initially resolved this once using the app’s unlock feature. However, today the device completely powered off again—no sound, no light, completely unresponsive. This happened while I was outside taking out the garbage without my phone, keys, or wallet. I was fully locked out of my home and had no way to get back in. I had to ask a neighbor for help, and she kindly drove me to my boyfriend’s house to retrieve the emergency key. Thankfully, I was able to get back in. After getting inside, I checked the app and the battery—everything appeared normal. There was no indication of a low battery or malfunction beforehand. It simply shut down and stopped responding entirely. This is extremely dangerous and unacceptable for a security device. Please take this issue seriously and provide a resolution or replacement immediately. If this problem cannot be resolved, I urge you to stop selling this product in its current state, as it poses a significant risk to users’ safety. I look forward to your urgent response.

Bought two of these smart locks for both the Front and Back doors of our home. My kids have lost keys in the neighborhood and we determined this is the best approach for home safety, ease of access for us and our kids while providing all the necessary features we were looking for at the best price. Installing these locks forced me to make some additional adjustments to my doors as I didn't have the chiseled notches that were required. But after a quick trip to the hardware store they were installed in about 20 mins. Highly recommended if you have children and don't want them either locked out of your home after school or don't want them loosing keys to your home.
