Best standard extruder for Ender 2 V2
The extruder that came with my Ender 3 V2 spontaneously shattered. It was mostly plastic and the plastic just weakened over time since it is always in tension with the spring. I also had slipping of the filament because the tension of the extruder wasn't high enough. This all metal extruder solved all my problems. It was a perfect fit for my printer without any modifications. It is very high quality with stainless steel screws and spring, steel bearings, aluminum frame, and good brass drive gear. The spring tension is adjustable and I keep mine pretty tight so there is no slipping. The extruder works perfectly and I haven't had any failures from extruding since replacing my broken OEM with this. This was not very expensive and upgraded my printer dramatically. It was easy to install, mostly just a direct swap. I recommend this for all OEM Ender 3 V2 printers.

This works great
My stock extruder finally broke on my ended 3v2. It was just a plastic one that Iโve had for years. This new one is very strong and Iโm very pleased with it. Itโs all aluminum and comes with everything you will need including new screws. And drive gears. Super easy to install, maybe took 5 minutes if you know what youโre doing. Functions great and Iโve had no issues yet. I definitely would recommend.

Print issues with your Ender v2? Try this!
I started having no end of issues with our Ender V2. Prints were garbage sometimes, acted like the bed wasn't level, filament balled up under the nozzle, and so forth. Spent forever cleaning off the plate, tweaking the leveling and Z offset, etc. Finally after some Googling, determined my issue was inconsistent filament feed. Replaced the stock feeder with this one, and everything was back to normal - prints like it did when it was new. Took about 20 min to swap out, all the parts seem to fit fine. The stock feeder is craptacular junk. Get it off there and replace it with a better one. Our original one lasted for about 2 kg of PLA before we started having issues. I'm only two prints in, but so far so good. Don't know about longevity yet. You may want an even better one if you use more abrasive filament or use it a lot more than we do. For ~$11 I'm happy with it.

Good product, but assembly had some hiccups
The extruder itself works great! I bought it as a replacement for my stock plastic one, since on certain filament my old assembly would slip and the print would fail. So far so good on this one A few important notes: 1.) it took me about 45 minutes to put together as someone whose not super experienced 2.) The kit came with an exploded view of the extruder assembly, but no instructions on how to put it together. Youtube videos helped me out a lot 3.) I thought I was missing a screw, but it was pre-screwed into the "large pneumatic connector" (look on your parts sheet to see what I'm talking about) 4.) I had to cut my bowden tube to get the old pneumatic connector off, and then re-squish the cut end back into a circle so the filament could fit into it These were my biggest annoyances putting this project together, so I hope it helps someone!

Works Great! Awesome quality
Not much to say, i mean my old one broke..it was plastic so no surprise there. This one is fully metal, super easy to install, took maybe 10 min at most, and it worked right away with no tuning or something crazy. I'd imagine this one is gonna last as it's fully metal. Not sure why this didn't come like this from factory. I'd probably recommend this be a must do upgrade, even if your current one is still working, just to save the headache or the off chance it breaks mid print.

Worthwhile and inexpensive upgrade!
If your printer came with a generic plastic extruder, which most do, you may want to consider upgrading to this metal extruder. One thing I noticed with the stock extruder is that if you donโt have a filament guide, the filament CAN eventually slice into the plastic extruder. With this metal extruder, that wonโt happen. This isnโt a complicated upgrade either. Itโs a one for one replacement of the original so itโs pretty straightforward to swap it out. I do feel like the spring for the metal extruder helps keep stronger tension on the filament which in turn helps to keep consistent filament flow and retraction. I highly recommend this inexpensive upgrade for any plastic extruder.

Will work well for likely any machine
Worked perfect for my Anycubic Kobra. I dislike their OEM extruders. Yes, I had to reverse polarity for the motor, but it was worth it. Feeds TPU better than the OEM, good tension and I haven't had any issues so far (about 20hrs of random prints with PLA and TPU). As expected, had to change the E-Steps, for the Kobra it's about 98.5 if that matters. I'll probably buy another for my Chiron too. After assembling the new parts, I used the OEM extruder-gear and placed it back on top of the motor shaft to be able to manually twist feed/remove filament while depressing the tension handle. You could easily print your own wheel to assist, but since I had it and it's metal and compact, might as well utilize it.

This solved my under extrusion issue!!! Everyone should make this cheap upgrade.
I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was causing my under extrusion issue on my Ender 3 for over a month. I bought this metal upgrade kit thinking maybe the teeth on my extruder gear were worn down and figured I may as well upgrade the whole extruder to metal since it cost the same as buying a couple replacement gears by themselves. When I went to replace the plastic extruder I realized there was a huge crack under the pully that was reducing the tension and causing the issue all along. This kit will ensure this never happens again! Other positives: - Super easy to install - The larger bowden tube connector is a significant upgrade that some other kits don't have. Negatives: - I wish this kit would have included an upgraded steel gear rather than the stock brass one but I don't think it makes that much of a difference.

Ottimo
Preso per sostituire l'originale in plastica. Funziona assolutamente molto meglio dell'originale in plastica. Si monta in 5 minuti e fa una gran differenza su come il filo viene spinto. Mod consigliata.

Great upgrade
You can expect the one that came with your ender 3 to break, they always seem to. This is much better quality and has been going strong.

niks past
Past niet in elkaar. Bouten en moeren zijn nier de juiste maat en de schroefdraden passen dus niet in elkaar. Het wordt geleverd zonder motor maar past ook niet op een standaard steppermotor.
