It was so easy to install and I could find videos easily. Literally just plug and play. Only issue is do make sure that the little switches go down up down up.

A superb product. I own a 2005 Nissan Maxima, and even though there is a specific "Nissan" USA Spec product, the only different between this one and that one is the wiring location. I chose this based on having it wired to the trunk vs behind the dash.I've been through two other competitor's products that advertised excellent Bluetooth quality and the ability to still use my factory Sirius tuner. They both failed in the latter, and the Bluetooth quality was horrendous.So, I installed this unit and have now used it for 3 weeks with zero issues. The quality of the music streaming is top notch. I haven't noticed an audible difference between CD and the BT connection whatsoever. Having an aftermarket amp and sub in my car, I was concerned about the lower frequencies dropping off and it has performed flawlessly. The product is easy to install, and easy to use. I also purchased a flush mounted USB/AUX extension cable and installed this in my center console. It essentially looks stock.I have two issues that are minor, and one has nothing to do with USA Spec, but to do with the seller. The microphone I was shipped is not the USA Spec microphone. I called th company to verify this. It is a lower-quality mic that was also broken when I received it.I am customizing my map light area with small holes and burying the mic behind so it is completely hidden, so being broken was not a big deal, but not getting the right product is huge problem. However, the only thing Amazon would do for me is process a refund for the unit which would require me to uninstall it, and then wait for another one :/I'm hoping USA Spec will cut me a deal in a mic.Also, the phone call quality isn't as good as it could be. I definitely have to crank the volume up. But, I rarely need to talk in the phone, and I bought this for music, and considering it beats all the competitors into the dust, so 5 stars it gets.

Setup was pretty simple and easy with the instructional guide included. They also offer a link to the YouTube channel for video hands on instructions as well. After installing and programming my Bluetooth and AUX, I immediately notice better quality of sound and bass from my speakers. Big upgrade to my Infiniti m35 base coming from just using FM transmitters. Highly recommended!!!

I installed this in a 2005 Infiniti G35 with the Bose premium package, but without satellite radio.The Good -- (1) Installation is a breeze. I have absolutely zero experience installing any car audio equipment. Once I found where my factory satellite radio receiver would have been installed, this took less than an hour to install, run the wires, replace the trim, and clean everything up. (2) Quality of the streaming audio is good, but depends greatly on the source audio (of course). I was running Spotify at "automatic" and the quality was fine using earbuds at the gym but not good enough for the car. I changed it to "extreme" and it sounds great. (3) Call quality is fine. I was having problems with the connection between my iPhone and Infiniti FX -- every so often the Bluetooth connection would just drop -- but I haven't experienced any loss of connection yet (knock on wood).The Bad -- (1) The normal audio controls do not work with my phone (iPhone 6). I have to control everything through the phone itself. That makes fast-forwarding a little trickier than it should be. If anyone has a fix for this, please let me know. (2) I really like satellite radio and I wish this was compatible with an aftermarket satellite radio receiver. Unfortunately, it's not. I may search for an OEM receiver and install that.All in all, I like it. And it beats the crap out of using the 6-CD changer all the time!

This is a fantastic product that was recommended to me by a local professional automotive performance shop that specializes in high-end, custom sound systems (they charge $200 for the BT45 and $100 for install). Because I wanted to maintain the aesthetics of the factory dashboard control panel for my 2006 Infiniti G35x, I opted for the BT45-INFI versus a new head unit which would have required a dashboard modification kit. The install of the unit was as simple as plugging it in to the pre-wired satellite radio harness located in the trunk of the car. Running the hands-free mic from the unit to the front, driver's side of the vehicle took a bit more effort, but was not complicated assuming you're comfortable removing some of the plastic trim pieces along the door thresholds in order to run the wire from the back to the front of the car. Once installed, you simply select the satellite radio function on the car stereo and set your pre-sets to #4 for bluetooth and #6 for the auxiliary input (but you have to purchase a separate aux cable and wire it if you want to use the aux function, which I did. And, that took A LOT more effort since I wired it in to the center console. But, if you just want bluetooth, don't bother with the aux). Then, you pair your phone (I have an iPhone) to the BT45. I leave the radio on the satellite setting with pre-set #4 and it automatically connects when I get in the car and turn the ignition on and then it disconnects when I turn the car off. I love this feature ... I hop in the car with my phone and it connects automatically and Pandora picks up on the song where it left off ... I don't have to reconnect or even press play, it does everything automatically! I highly recommend the product. My son, whose technical standards are even higher than mine, has the same unit in his 2007 Infiniti G35x and likewise he loves it!
