Dee Zee 16321 NXt Running Board Step

Just mounted these on my 2016 Chevy Colorado and very pleased! The Amazon "Your Garage" tool said these are not the right boards for the 2016 Colorado, but these fit perfectly. You also need to buy the mounting brackets (DZ16319) separately. I had no problems with the NutSerts as other's have mentioned. I went to the DeeZee website and downloaded detailed installation instructions, which helped (there were no mounting instructions in the box). The hardest part was identifying the right holes in the undercarriage of the truck to slide the NutSerts into. After that, they went on easily.These look great on the truck and provide a very clean and streamlined look. Because it is a solid wide board, it also helps prevent mud and road grime from splattering on the vehicle when driving on gravel roads or in muddy conditions. The other thing I really liked about these boards is that you can easily slide the boards forward or back and also a little bit of in or out to position exactly where you want them. Once you have the mounting brackets bolted to the truck, you can loosen the 6 nuts that hold the board to the (permanently affixed) mounting brackets, you can slide the boards to the position desired and then re-tighten the nuts. Very well engineered.

I got these for my 2018 F-150 and they were very easy to install and they work great. My truck has a 4 inch lift which is just enough to make it a stretch for the wife and kids to get into. These do the trick and they look great too. You can adjust them in and out and forward and back to fit your preference. The only drawback is that you have to buy the mounting brackets separately and they aren't cheap. But the quality is good, the boards are rock solid, and you can't beat free shipping when you live in Hawaii!

Super easy install. I set aside an afternoon to unbox and install the running boards and brackets but it only took 40 minutes! Only 2 tools needed, a flat head screwdriver and a 13mm socket. They’re sturdy and look good too.

I could never get mounting braces that would work with these running boards. They may be great if you can find brackets that will work with these running boards

I like the finished product. However, the nutserts, and the special nutsert tool, are of poor quality. The tool's ball bearing disc came apart after three uses (I had to install 12 nutserts on my truck) and the nutserts themselves rounded off with very little effort. I was forced to improvise with vise grips and a modification of the nutsert tool.There's really no excuse, Dee Zee. Get it together.

Really pleased with how these running boards look and feel on my 2016 Silverado. I was looking for a step that wouldn’t stick out too far or hang down too low. I was also looking for a step that wasn’t so bulky like you see on the factory nerf bars. These were perfect.They install in about an hour. All parts fit as expected. You can adjust the boards in and out from the truck, but the clearance from the bottom of the truck is set. I put these as far in as possible. When purchasing, you will need to buy the brackets separately.

These running boards fit very well on a 2019 ram 2500 crew cab. Remember that the hardware kit and brackets are sold separately. The hardware kit was very good but that is a different review. These running boards have an aluminum body with a textured black side rail and rubber grommets on top. They provide a very good grip and are rock solid when installed properly using the hardware kit. The 84” length was nearly perfect for “cab length” considering the boards themselves are somewhat universal.

Recently installed this on a 2016 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab - they are super easy to install and look great. All you need is a socket wrench. It took me about 45 minutes to install both boards. You just need to buy the mounting brackets (DZ16319) separately.
