Not bad, if your pup don't chew!
We used to lug our yellow lab's 42" metal crate with us wherever we went. He's still a pup and hence a bit of a chewer. The metal crate was cumbersome to load into our SUV, rattled like crazy during the car ride and took up half the rear passenger space. We knew there had to be a better solution. A quick search for "travel crate" brought us here. We looked at several crates, the first one we bought (also a GoPetClub) was too tall to fit in our SUV so we returned it and got this one.The AC40 is a bit smaller than your average 42" crate but there's still plenty of space for our 72lbs lab to turn around and find a comfy spot. The frame itself is very easy to setup and once the bars are connected (one on each side) it is very sturdy but still light and easy to handle. The external accessory bag is a good size and can hold leashes, treats, and water bottle easily. There's a rollup mesh door and sunroof and what appears to be a short leash. The included crate pad has a soft faux-wool cover over a corrugated plastic board underneath, it isn't soft by any means but it sure beats sleeping on a cold, hard surface. It seems designed to be easy to clean in case of any accidents. The biggest drawback is that the interior of the crate has too many places where a bored puppy could get his/her chew on. The short leash hangs inside and there are a few too many exposed flaps and seams. We do pull the short leash out through the sunroof when he's crated and also treated the exposed flaps and seams with some bitter apple. So far nothing has been chewed off. Some other drawbacks - there isn't a solid outer panel you can zip over the mesh panels to give your doggie some privacy or shade. There aren't any tie down loops at the corners so I'm not sure why there's even a short leash. I doubt the material is water resistant. I wouldn't plan on using this for a camping trip unless the weather calls for completely clear skies or you can bring another tent/canopy just for the dog.Overall we are really happy with this crate and would recommend it if your pet isn't big on chewing, is crate trained and your use case doesn't involve outdoor adventures with the chance for inclement weather.

EXCELLENT kennel for the price! Couldn't be happier!
We researched a lot of portable, soft sided kennels. After reading review after review...we finally settled on this one. Couldn't be happier! It has no "odor" like some of the other kennels seemed to have. Also - for our growing Golden, I really love the open air mesh on the sides. Assembly was super-easy - really no assembly required. It just popped up. Overall, would rate it 6 out of 5 stars. The one we ordered will be plenty big for our Retriever when grown. Oh...did I mention how nice that a mat came WITH the kennel? A really nice fleecy mat that fits perfectly. I hope others like it as much as we do!

Weak mesh and sourrounding stitching
Love the portability and the frame system. It worked out great for us for 5-6 times until our dog figured out how flimsy the mesh and the stitching around it is on the kennel. He broke out once through the side netting, that was covered, this trip and we turned the kennel on its side and tried again... he broke out on the front door in the same fashion. Both times he had been fed, walked, relieved himself, and been covered. He uses a different kennel at home all the time as we both work and has zero issues with it and considers it his space... this kennel's mesh is just too weak to be used. 80 bucks and it didn't even take a year to be no longer viable... :/

Not bad but Not long term either
This crate wasn't bad at first. It is durable but can not be transported back & forth like i thought. I take my dog to work & it has already taken a beating. It is spacious for the dog, it breaks down easy for transport, & it light to carry. I just wished it was a bit strudier.

Love it - Dog made alterations
A nice airy crate! Dog can see all around, get fresh air, and yet have his private space. However, McGraw (20 month old yellow Golden Lab) decided it needed an open door - so, he made an alteration. It can no longer be zipped closed but he loves it and is very happy!

Great kennel.
Great pet carrier, just bigger than I needed. Returned. If I ever needed a kennel this size I would not hesitate to buy again. The pad that comes with is one is nicer and thicker than the one I replaced it with.

Choose something else.
While I understand that this is a soft crate, it simply did not last. My dog is a light chewer and ate through the bottom and sides with ease. The soft mat that comes with the crate is also very cheap; it permanently warped and is so light that it slips and slides around when the dog gets in or out of the crate. I will be buying another brand for my next crate and wish I could get my money back for this thing.
