This projector has everything I need to connect a laptop or fire stick to watch movies.Added 09/30:Hooked up the projector with my chromecast and the video is sharp and bright, sound is awesome!! I can now send any content from my phone/ipad/laptop to the projector.

I knew exactly what I was buying and I knew precisely how I was planning on using the projector-- use it in office.All I had to do was hook up the hdmi cable that came with the projector into my lap top. It is also convenient when I connect it with my iphone, just need an extra Lightning to hdmi adapter, but I need to buy the adapter by myself. It is a great product to use in office. Really happy with the purchase.

Very nice image for movies & videos except for the occasionally annoying flickering in certain spots when there is a white or light colored background. Super bright in a not so dark room. HQ video as well. Wish that the adjustable legs were easier to use and that the lens cover was built in.Although I used an external speaker, but it actually has a built-in speaker. It is convenient for going out. I connected the macbook via the hdmi cable with no delay at all.

I found Vankyo projector V620 out of my search and This projector is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I say this is the best affordable projector that one can buy without no hesitation. It has great picture quality, the images were vivid and the texts are sharp, Great watchability with 5500 lux which gets super bright even in well lit room, the picture in dark setting room give you a cinematic watch experience. Usually at this price point u dont get focused screen edges but this piece of machine managed to get all 4 corners focused without adjusting much of keystone -/+15.ProsGreat looking picture quality.Super Color Contrast at any angle.Great Value for Money.Sharp and super bright.Quiet in operation.ConsAudio from inbuilt speaker aren't so great.

I've been using this projector 2+ hours/day for a month, and it has worked perfectly so far. I've been watching movies and TV on it, and the image quality is almost as good as my LCD monitor. It's bright enough for use insemi-dark rooms (just bright enough to read a book in).The inputs are 2 HDMI ports, 2 usb ports, one VGA port and one component video. It also has a 3.5mm audio out. These ports are well spaced, so you can also have multiple slightly over-sized cables plugged in simultaneously. The projected image's size is around 80" when the screen is around 2m away.Now for the negatives -- I can find only two:1. The fan noise is loud enough that you'd want to use it in a large room, with the projector as far away from you as possible. I'd either use external speakers with the volume turned up high, or use it with noise cancelling headphones.2. The remote control is slightly irritating to use, it only works if you point it at the right half of the projector.Overall, this is a great budget projector.

Ever since I saw a projector in my friend's house, I also wanted to experience the same in my own house. After searching for a week, I bought one. The packaging is very design. Come with everything needed. This projector has a unique design style. Very easy to set up. It is a really nice projector. Sound quality is stereo and you don’t even need external speakers. If you want to enjoy surround sounds, I will highly recommend it to you. The images are clear, great for watching movie. The fan noise is very unnoticeable, which’s impressed me. I bought this projector to watch movie at home, so it’s really impressed me. Worth the money. I can plug my five tv stick in it, its really convenient for me to enjoy my movie night without download some movies from my laptop. Can works well even in daytime for it is a native 1080p projector…no need to worry about the brightness of the projector…Excellent projector, enjoy movie night with my families, really fun. I will invite some friends to enjoy my home cinema as well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a home projector like this. you won't be disappointed for the price..

Overall really great projector for the price. It took some adjustments in the settings to fix the image out of the box: I had to reduce the brightness down a lot to fix shadows rendering properly, but after that and some minor tweaks to contrast and sharpness it looks way better.The image quality is great overall. You can definitely tell that it's a native 1080p projector (gotta look out for that in a lot of other projectors marketed as 1080p even though they're actually native 720p; they get away with it because they can play full hd content but render the quality down to standard hd).There's some blurriness at the edges but it's not that noticeable and pretty incredible for the price. It's not gonna replace my HDTV for most things but it makes occasional movie nights a ton of fun.I also definitely recommend hooking it up to speakers for better sound quality. The fan isn't so loud that you can't hear everything but the built in speakers are just okay.
