Faulty machine, unresponsive seller service
I ordered the Vibiemme Double Domobar from Italian Bean Delight via Amazon. Sadly, the machine has had problems since the day I opened the box, and the seller has completely neglected their responsibility to repair it.First, all water from the water spout came out a toxic-looking blue color. It tool several *hours* of flushing to get the water to start running clear. Even now, over a year later, it still runs gray for the first 5 seconds of dispensing water.A few months in to ownership, the machine's brewing pressure gauge wouldn't show pressure for 10+ seconds after the machine first heated up. Once water starts flowing, the PID registers a 20+ degree temperature drop, which then climbs to 5 degrees over the temp I have it set to, then finally settles at the proper temp. This manual process of "waking up" the machine can take 10+ minutes of babysitting, and results in some pretty terrible pulls if one isn't careful.The problems I've had with this machine are exactly that: problems...defects. The seller, Italian Bean Delight, started off responding to my support emails, offered some unsuccessful suggestions for fixing the problems, and ultimately admitted that the machine needed warranty repair. Unfortunately, 6+ months and multiple unreturned emails later, no repair has been scheduled. They won't event return my emails anymore.So, while this is a beautiful machine and, when it works, makes great-tasting espresso, I recommend against buying it from Italian Bean Delight/Amazon. Maybe you'll have better luck with someone else. You'll definitely get better support...
