Does not ouout HDMI while recording!!!
This is really light and small with full feature videos so you can mount it on Gimbal. Touch focus. Rack focus. Track focus. Wi-Fi Live view with camera Setting control. Records 30min for 4K then stop(file size) you got to re record. Records non-stop for 1080 and lower. Some how 4k has less noise than 1080. You can monitor by Wi-Fi but you cannot use HDM I output while recording. And Wifi live view has little lack. Lens price is cheaper than other brands. Cine like-D mode for fimling people. No audio out but has gain level on lec screen. (But HDMi to 3.5mm audio female cable will let you monitor before recording. )or just buy external recorder and input to camera so you can monitor from recorder(Production way). Battery life is twice than sony. No overheating. Surprisingly Camera mic is not too bad. Built quality is good, not waterproof(not necessary for film production anyway. Raining your gear is a stupid idea). It has a little hole next to barrty chamber so you can use external battery power(cable comes out of battery and that cable goes through that side hole. It is like pet door on the door). i dynamic feature.

LOVE this camera...
I wanted to give it a little time before reviewing and my assessment is that I LOVE THIS CAMERA! I was previously shooting with a Canon EOS Rebel with a Canon EF 28-135mm lens. I was hesitant to change mostly because of how much I had paid for lens on my Canon only two years earlier and I was still questioning the new mirror less format. I am not someone who concerns themselves much with technical details...if you are I applaud you I just don't have that kind of patience. I simply take photos of things I love and I don't want to have to think much about what I am doing. Here are my observations: the photo quality is greater than anything I have worked with, the ease of use is just that..easy, it's lightweight and it's incredibly freeing to have so much quality in such a small package...it fits in my purse. I bought it with the 14-140 mm Lens. The quality of images when zoomed in fully exceeds, by far my Canon lens. I have not had any issues with low light as some reviewers have indicated. Plain and simple...it's camera love.

Otherwise a lot of nice features. Panaromic
Only reason for 4 rating is that the camera is made of cheap plastic. Otherwise a lot of nice features. Panaromic, takes very good photos. Has WiFi. Not very clear on how to upload to PC. Can connect easily. IPhone app easy to set up. Another drawback is keep hitting focus ring instead of zoom. Lots of options, Just wish quality was better and made in US.

Powerful performance in a smaller, lighter package
Got this to supplant my EOS 70D, which I love but it's pretty heavy. The G7 has impressed me greatly so far. The EVF (electronic viewfinder) is amazing... you can make changes to your settings and see what the photo is going to look like through the viewfinder (for example, you can immediately see the effects of changes in exposure compensation to get the right shot the first time). Fast and precise autoexposure, effective image stabilization and very well laid out controls (which is a good thing because the sheer number of settings available is awe inspiring). Picture quality is impressive... seems to match up with the quality of my 70D quite well. When I have a chance to try the 4K video, I'll provide an update. But for my prosumer activities, this looks to be a possible replacement for the 70D. Time will tell...

Awesome camera. I am a dslr user and needed something to replace my huge amount of gear. Resolution is what I expected but of course not as high as my Nikon d800's But definitely a fun and powerful camera in terms of performance.

Caught on camera
I now have a reason to be outdoors without the responsibility of having a pet. The quality is very good and I look forward to more practice and experimentd with different lenses.

Received a brand new camera
With the box opened like this. This was supposed to be signed for and I did not sign for this. It was left outside of my gate. Getting this refunded and returned. I need and want this camera but I want a new one just as I have paid for it. I am on with dispatch customer service right now ensuring that the driver DOES NOT do this again.

Would not buy again.
Pretty meh. Wasn't shopping for this particular camera but it was a Prime Day deal and I figured I'd give it a try. Pro: some "fun" built-in settings and special effects; decent-looking images. Con: everything else. Most of my comparsions are against my Fujifilm XE-3 which is roughly the same kind of camera and is roughly in the same price range. It's not perfect either but it makes this Panasonic feel like an unprofessional toy. Main gripe w/ Lumix is the zoom lens. Rotating the zoom on this one feels terrible. The part of the barrel which you turn to zoom in or out is very "sticky", like it's made cheaply, of plastic, and is not lubricated. Even after using the camera for several years, it feels slightly "broken in" at this point, but overall the problem persists. You absolutely cannot zoom in and out smoothly by hand. You'd need a zoom controller stepper motor accessory. Also, my friend got a slightly better version of the G7 model, but his came with a proper lens that feels smooth and "pro", like my Fujifilm does. After I saw what paying a mere $50 more got for him, vs. what I got with this one, I feel even more ripped-off. Took it out in the very cold once -- -10 F/-20 C -- and the camera literally started to fall apart. Plastic parts that were glued together separated, because the zoom barrel froze. "My fault" for trying to use it outside of its stated specs. But my other camera had no such problem. And frankly the safe operating range is pretty weak. I think it's only supported in cold weather down to like 28 degrees F, technically. Which is slightly below freezing i.e. not really very cold at all, if you're looking to do outdoor work in the winter. Bunch of really bad software design as far as the menus etc. goes. Hard to find any particular feature or setting as everything seems poorly organized. Other stupid design flaws like... you can't shoot video when the mode dial is set to "interval" (i.e. mode where it automatically takes a pic every 5 seconds, or whatever you set it to, until you tell it to stop.). Makes sense it's not going to do "interval shot" when you're shooting video but ... instead of putting a stupid warning on the screen about this incompatibility between modes, and then preventing the camera from doing *anything*, would it have been so hard to just override the "interval shooting" mode and *just have it shoot the @(#8ing video anyway*? Seems like common sense to me but apparently the ppl who designed this camera don't agree. I can't tell you how many shots I've missed because of this. :( As far as the photographic modes, basically all of them use "auto" settings which you cannot override. You have a couple more "pro"-oriented modes where you can set every setting manually, but -- again, comparing to Fujifilm -- it would be nice to be able to adjust ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc., when using all the misc. modes. But no, it seems you basically either get "full auto" or "full manual". Even the flash will not co-operate in most of these modes. :( Anyway, I could go on but those are the main peeves.
