First LiteMen's Kiln Quarter-Zip - Merino Wool Midweight Camo Hunting Base Layer

I bought this as a replacement for the first 'Firstlite' wool jersey I bought 10 years ago. I've worn it every winter since. Firstlite sold me on merino wool, almost most of my winter clothing is wool. From the Firstlite wool ball cap to the socks on my feet - wool. IT works ... period.The large was too big so I returned the first for a no hassle replacement ... then I bought one for my son.

I like that I can unzip the neck for ventilation when the need arises.

Fits great, soft and comfortable kept me warm during deer season this year. Used it as a mid layer, but will probably switch and use it as a base layer next year and pair with another first lite product as the temps drop. It looks nice enough to wear as a lite warm layer around town as well.

It is worth the money, unbelievable fabric, I wore it Elk hunting, kept me warm in the morning and cool and dry during the day. It totally wicks sweat away. I bought more for my hunting buddy’s as gifts

If you can wear different sizes depending on the brand go with your smaller size. Or if you just like a more form fitting shirt go with a size smaller than usual. Other than that it's pretty nice shirt, very warm.
