PNY 16GB Micro Hook Attache USB Flash Drive (P-FDI16G/APPHK-GES3)

I have owned this key chain flash drive for about a year now. With all the rigorous thrashing of the keys (throwing them on tables, dropping them etc) the flash drive works every time. It's protected in a steel casing, and I personally like the size of it (it doesn't get in the way).

The flash drive is built very well and is quite convenient. It needs a dust cover for the Port. Other than that they are great and very easy to handle. I put a piece of shrink tube over the port on all of mine and that solved the dust and lint problem.I have purchased two more since this one.

Just like another purchaser, I had bought a 32GB one for myself, and then a 16GB for my daughter. I was feeling flush when she graduated and the negative cash flow of tuition stopped. Hey, how about something nice for myself? I'm not known for high style, but I wanted something that looked nicer than those tacky plastic flash drives. Also, as luxuries go this one was very reasonable.It works, and is stylish and cute. Yes, it is small. I keep it on my key chain so it's always handy.

Hinge seems like a good idea, but actually makes it a little harder to push in. Didn't seem to fit well, anyway. Very tight fit...almost wouldn't go it. Starting to loosen up a bit.

I purchased one of these flash drives about a year ago and LOVED it. I used it for my college classes to transport power point projects and store papers, etc. I never had a single problem with it until I lost it :o( I simply forgot to take it out of a computer at the college and by the time I went looking for it, it was gone.I would highly recommend this flash drive to anyone! I loved that I could easily clip it to my keys and just as easily remove it when needed.Now I am purchasing another one- still hoping the first one will be returned to me!

When I got this drive, I had the expectation that it was going to be nice metal drive that I could easily clip on/off my keychain. What I got was nothing like it. First off, the drive's push handle is very small, and is tough to grip. I dont even have such big hands, and its tough for me to grip it! Second, there is no cap to protect it from dust and other elements, which I dislike. And, although we are at an age where everything is getting smaller, this drive is just TOO small. I almost lost it dozens of times when I left it on my table. In addition, the fact that its so small makes it difficult and awkward to insert it into the USB port. The worst part is that the hook is very small, and coudlnt grip my keychain ring, because it didnt have enough space to get in.The drive was working fine, when all of a sudden, I plugged it into my computer and the compute shut down. I put it in my other computer, and it did the same thing. The drive somehow got so messed up it shut shuts down my PCs instantly without notice. I know I don't have virus, and that 2 computers can't both be too blame. Sadly, this drive is just not all its cranked up to be, and is not worth your money.

Love this Flash drive because it fits my old I book g4 12 inch lap top and it down loaded all of my files and I can still put it in my HP and see all my old files on my windows 7 I got on QVC.I use the feature of tab and windows icon to go back and forth and check my files. thx medicineP.S. La clé, livrée sous blister est très arrivée en 1 jour, prévu avec la commande prime.Je m'en suis servi pour faire ma clé d'installation de Windows 10, que l'on peut créer à partir de l'outil du site Microsoft. Tout s'est bien déroule, et l'installation consécutive sur un pc portable s'est réalisée rapidement.L'insertion est un peu dure (déjà vu dans les commentaires précédents) mais ne pose aucun problème ni risque d'endommager l'appareil. La partie des pistes USB plastique est renforcée par un morceau métallique : ca respire la solidité.Elle est accrochée à ma clé de voiture désormais, et malgré le peu de soin que je lui apporte, elle ne bouge pas.

UPDATE / JAN 2018Auch nach 2-einhalb Jahren Beanspruchung (hängt permanent an meinem Schlüssebund!!!) funktioniert das Ding einwandfrei!!!------------------------------------------------------------------Ich habe auf Empfehlung eines Kollegen gleich 2 Stück von diesem USB-Stick (16 GB) gekauft, da mir meine anderen USB-Sticks leider nach 6 Monaten bis max. 2 Jahren Betrieb abgeraucht sind, (OHNE exzessive Nutzung!) und bin von der Qualität und der Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit begeistert! Der etwas höhere Preis ist auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt!Im Detail: Lesegeschwindigkeit bis zu ca. 17 MB/sSchreibgeschwindigkeit: ca. 6,5 MB/s. (Betrieb jeweils an USB 2.0)Meine bisher benutzten USB-Sticks (USB 2.0) haben beim Lesen max. 4-5 MB/s und beim Schreiben z. T. nur 2-3 MB/s erreicht...Die Materialverarbeitung ist sehr stabil, und einer der beiden Sticks wird dank seiner stabilen Verarbeitung und der geringen Größe am Schlüsselbund seinen Platz finden - durch den auf dem Foto zu sehenden, gefederten Splint eignet er sich dafür hervorragend.In einem Punkt muss ich jedoch meinen Vorrednern zustimmen - unter den entsprechenden Gegebenheiten kann es mal "eng" werden, und es ist etwas mehr Druck als bei anderen USB-Sticks nötig, um diesen Stick in den USB-Slot einzustecken (evtl. etwas breiter als andere Hersteller). Natürlich ist dadurch auch ein besserer Halt im Port gewährleistet und ein herausrutschen fast unmöglich.Ob dies auf Dauer den Stick oder den benutzten USB-Port beschädigt oder übermäßig verschleißt, kann ich aufgrund der bisher kurzen Nutzungsdauer (1 Woche) noch nicht bestätigen, wage dies aber zu bezweifeln...

Sirve para llevar unas cuantas películas o ficheros grandes de un lado para otro, que es lo importante. Si quieres más capacidad, hay otros modelos mayores, para mi este es suficiente y tiene un precio muy económico

In metallo, con moschettone, si porta facilmente assieme ad un mazzo di chiavi. Abbastanza veloce e di dimensioni veramente ridotte. Un gioiellino!
