These will keep your arms AND arm rests from a lot of wear & tear. Velcro keeps the pads on and I like the side pocket for my cell phone, keys, pen with paper etc. I do have a problem with one sliding back or forward on the armrest but it's no big deal, I'll figure it out, maybe adjust the way I connect the velcro.I am so glad I saw these and bought themNaturally I can't have them on the outside of the manual wheelchair's arm as they would interfere with the large wheel, so the pockets are inside where I sit. Not always convenient as they get too tight in between the cushion I use and it's hard to grab my cell phone, a lozenge or a pen when they are right up against the cushion, but at least they protect the arm rests and so far, I haven't seen anything that really works any better on a wheelchair. If you don't have a caregiver, like I don't, then putting a pouch on the back if the chair is useless.NOW, can someone PLEASE make something that holds a reacher/grabber in an easy to reach place on my manual wheelchair so I can grab it at a moment's notice to pick up everything from a penny that I drop to a cell phone or a pet's plate?

I sent these to my 86 year old aunt who is wheelchair bound. I thought I was sending her the same that I had ordered before, which she loves. These were not. She said they did not have the soft arm covers and that she will keep her old ones. She lives in Denver and I in OH, so it's difficult to know what happened or to try to remedy when living so far apart.. I wonder if somehow my order got mixed up? Very disappointing. I found a different product and just sent it. I'm hoping it is what she needs/wants. She is a sweetheart and deserves to have the simple comforts.....I reordered these wheelchair arm pads and my Aunt just received them. She is thrilled. They are just what she had. I don't know what happened with the first order, and since we are hundreds of miles apart, I cannot see what she received the first time. She loves the soft arm covers and said there are a lot of pockets.

I've used these for years. I'm in my chair most of the day and the pockets have room for the phone, tissues, candies, keys and then some. The wash great in the machine in a nylon bag. I partially dry them in the dryer then just spread the out to finish.

These pouches are very useful, and very comfortable! My only complaint would be that they slide back and get caught between the back of the armrest and the back frame of the wheelchair whenever the wheelchair is unfolded, so we have to be careful when unfolding my chair to make sure they stay at the front of the armrest. Other than that, they are wonderful! The fleece is very soft, and the pouches can hold a good amount of everyday items, which means I don't have to keep my purse beside me in the chair (which crowds me in the chair) or hung across the handles (which makes it difficult to get to). Overall, a great product!

This quite simply do not fit standard wheelchair arms. If the velcro were moved down 1 inch it would make such a difference and these would go from being okay to great. As it is, the velcro barely catches and comes loose easily. However, it is nice to have a place to stash small items, and it keeps the armed from heating up in the sunlight.

A decent product , you get what you pay for.

i thought this was a brill idea...but you cant use and propell your chair. they get in the way.!!however for an attendant chair im sure they would be great.however the company dispatched them very promptly....no complaints there.

Very handy for bits and bobs

These seem nicely made and are a great idea. They are now on my mom's wheelchair. I would have given 5 stars except for one thing. My mom is fairly small and has a small wheelchair. These don't fit the way they are pictured because there is no space wide enough between the seat and the wheel. So they hang over the silver hand part of the wheel. A little in the way for someone who wheels themselves but not too bad. My mom barely does so it's not an issue and it keeps her TV remote, phone, tissue, etc. at hand. On a larger wheelchair they would be great!

It did not mention two, so I was happy to see the product comes as a pair. They work very well to handle small items on a wheelchair and are durable. I would love to see a small pouch attach with Velcro to the inside just for Kleenex. Loose tissues are a bit hard to reach on the outside and a box doesn't fit. But a book, TV remote or small photo album work very well. The soft arm rests could be a bit thicker but are a huge improvement over the hard, cold chair rests! Für einen normalen, einfachen Rollstuhl sicherlich geeignet.Für einen Spezial-Rollstuhl mit ewas breiteren Lehnen jedoch nicht. Es gibt keine grössere Verstellmöglichkeit, um die Tasche an der Lehne zu befestigen. Ich habe dann ein Gummiband angenäht mit einem Druckknopf, so geht es.Der Fellbezug ist natürlich sehr von Vorteil um eine Entlastung der Patienten an den Armen und Ellenbogen zu ermöglichen.Die Taschen reichen aus, um kleinere Utensilien mit zu nehmen.
