The merchandise arrived on time. It was as per the seller’s description, as well as per my requirements. The packaging was adequate for transport. The product I had ordered, has proven to be just right for the use intended. My overall experience, with this purchase has been very satisfactory, always good product to have available.

I needed to replace my integrated washing machine and the existing hinge position was no good. After looking online I discovered I needed a 35mm forstner drill bit (seems to be the standard size) to cut the new recess for the hinges.I removed the door and old hinges then used a hole saw to cut plugs out of a scrap bit of wood for the old hinges recesses. I glued these in using no more nails.I marked the position of the new recesses using template supplied with machine. This slightly infringed on the now filled old holes that's why I had to plug them.I then got my new forstner drill bit and set the depth required locking the depth guage plate in position with supplied alen key. I used a corded drill and the bit cut really easily and accurately. Just little squeezes of the trigger a bit at a time worked well. After cutting the first one I was about to do the second and noticed the the depth plate had loosened and moved so tightened up just something to keep an eye on.Anyway both hinge recess cut and my first washing machine door hung perfectly. Drill bit is excellent for the diyer needing occasional use and at £5 money well spent. I saved a lot of money fitting the machine myself and the door was my main concern but it's really not that hard with supplied template and this forstner drill bit.

Recently purchased for cutting 2 fresh hinge holes in a kitchen cabinet door.Can’t offer a long term review …. but the tool has produced very accurate results and was definitely worth my money.

I was very surprised how good the bit is, I cut about 20 holes in kitchen doors very quickly, the guide plate is invaluable, a tip just make sure the Allen bolt is fully tightened, you don't want to go through face of door.

If you’re buying this because it comes in a nice case, don’t bother. The case was in bits and bin worthy on arrival. The bits are ok though and did the job!So as a whole package, not great but for the job you need doing, it’s okay.

Does what is says on the tin. I needed it to drill two hinge holes on the new door for integrated washer/dryer. With a sharp central guide, it is easy to position, and easy to use, making a clear cut 35mm hole both in depth and in circumference. The depth limiter is a brilliant feature. How long it will remain sharp remains to be seen but certainly for a small number of jobs it is excellent value for money.

Unquestionably excellent value for money. This purchase obviously being so much cheaper than having to pay a professional, which were happy to to do, but this somewhat problematic during the lock down, when needing a kitchen door refitted.That relative who was happy to help said that it was easy enough to use, with the ability to gauge the hole size thanks to an easily adjustable measure on the Bits shaft, and this Bit not having caused any issues in creating a perfectly smooth hole to embed the usual kitchen hinge.As being merely a DIY'er, so lacking the experience needed to compare against the well know/leading brands, yet, we all agreed how it would have been a simply waste if buying a more expensive bit for just one/light use.Needless to say we're incredibly happy we came across this particular Bit when looking, cheap enough and perfect for our needs.

I'd bought this for one job, namely cutting the holes to relocate the fixings on an ikea bookcase that I was reducing the width of.For that job it worked extremely well, with the depth stop allowing me to get the holes the same as the original ones.Only downside was the grub screw had cut into the shaft and you could see a groove where the depth stop had ridden up very slightly. Hence the 4 stars.
