Kona Cotton Windsor, Fabric by the Yard

I had been sewing face masks and ran out of solid white cotton and linen fabric. I decided to sew a few more masks, for inclusion in Christmas packages for relatives.I bought small cuts of this, in case I needed some amount of white and off-white cotton, not expecting much due to the price. WOW! The fabric is a very good thickness and weight, and has a nice “hand”. Certainly comfortable enough to have against your face in a face mask. I was amazed, because 100% is usually well over $10 a yard. I laundered it to pre-shrink it, and there was a minimal amount of raveling on the raw edges. Thank you! It saved me dealing with going into a fabric store!

Love the crispness of this white precut fabric and also the convenience.I made this large Star Baby Quilt using the precut and it was so easy to work with. I definitely will but again.

I enjoy working with the quality of Kona fabric. Appreciate the hand (feel) of the fabric, it glides easily during free motion quilting. I use these 10" squares for practicing free motion quilting stitch styles.

Great product. I use for hand embroidery and I found that this fabric is a good fabric for embroidery and transferring designs onto.

I've ordered Kona Cotton fabric in varying colors multiple times. This is my standby fabric when I need to do fill-ins or sashing on quilts that I'm constructing. Tightly woven and always of consistent color, it handles beautifully with minimal fraying (considering that it's cotton).For this particular color, I needed a blue that was as close to the color of a man's blue oxford shirt, since I was making a quilt out of old men's shirts, some of which were Brooks Brothers button-down collar oxfords in traditional light-blue oxford color. I lacked enough to make a border sashing for the quilt, so I took a chance on this particular color.On target! The shade was nearly a perfect match (although a bit more tightly woven fabric) that complimented the quilt. I could not be more pleased.I would not hesitate to order any Kona Cotton, but this one has tickled my fancy because it's such a wonderful color -- and precisely what I needed.
