Budget high rate of zoom lens
Nice quality as compared to price! Photos are descent. Completely manual focus, requires patience and you will definitely get desired results!!

It's ok lense
Works only in Mannual mode. Photos are not very good compared to Nikor lense. Cheaper telephoto lense though. Don't expect wonders using it.

Four Stars
The material is good but it's too late if you pay the money to "avoid paid parcel Amazon"

Not able to take a good shot yet.
As it is manual lens it is very different to control all factors at a time such as Focusing, ISO. Not possible to shoot flying birds.

Wrong products delivery
This product is sold with wrong products details, it was supposed to be 420-1600mm, but the product I received was 420-800mm

Value for the money
Lense is great. It is a manual lense so it takes some time to get good pictures. Considering the cost this is a great purchase.

Great portable lens for entry wildlife photography
Great lens for a budding wildlife photographer, it can focus close enough for garden birds or waterfowl. Fixed aperture depending on length of zoom. Push zoom allows fairly quick reframing of image. Long focus throw means a fair amount turns between near and distant objects. All metal lens barrel with plastic tripod collar. Takes 62mm filters. Very good optical quality for its price, but not as good as major camera brand lenses. There's simply nothing else anywhere near this price point that will offer such zoom capabilities for wildlife photography. Nicely compliments my 650-1300mm lens, which gives more reach but is less portable and doesn't focus as close as the 420-800mm.

At this price, wow!
This was written about an hour after I received this lens and I didn't have much time to play with it to possibly get improved results. That said, it's great if you consider that it's about 1/100th the price of a big Nikon lens.A bit of fiddling with the adapter, teleconverter, and lens to figure out what fit where (I never read manuals, they spoil the adventure) and it was mounted on my D7200. Another 10 minutes to figure out how to slide it in and out and turn the focus ring and I got a few totally horrible pictures.Well, I broke down and looked in the manual (loose term for the single, letter-sized sheet of instructions) and in a couple of minutes was shooting away. After boosting the ISO to 8000 (long lens=low light of course) I got a few nice images. I compared a few configurations of lenses and in the first shot (18mm lens) you could tell something was there, possibly a pickup truck. The second shot with a 140mm lens made it obvious it was a white pickup and you could even make out the Chevy logo on the grill. Then I put this lens on and now I could read the little "Ontario" letters on the license plate. White blob to reading 1/2 inch high letters with a simple lens swap.I did use the PhotoShop Elements haze removal on the 1600mm image but I wasn't using a tripod, just resting the lens against the door frame. Without a tripod and timer to take the shot, even your heartbeat will transmit through your fingers and shake the camera enough to blur the photo. It's a keeper. For the price you can't go wrong. Just do as they say and practice, practice, practice.

It's an okay lens. It does the job for the price but it is on the softer side. It will require a tripod and a shutter release is recommended. There is a serious learning curve to the manual focusing.
