This blanket was fantastic for the first few nights I had it. I've used it a week, and all the beads have moved to the outside squares, so it isn't even weighted in the middle anymore. Not worth the headache, just get a better quality to begin with.

I ordered this after my therapist recommended it to me. My blanket arrived extremely quickly (less than 24 hours after ordering!) about a week ago. Since putting it on my bed and using it, I have gotten the best sleep I have ever had. The blanket provides a firm, evenly distributed weight that feels like a firm warm 'hug' all over my body. It evokes memories of being tucked in and makes me feel secure and calm. Not only is the quality of my sleep overall better, my dreams have been less disturbed lately as well.Your mileage may vary, but this item has improved my quality of life dramatically. Do recommend!

I like lots of weight when I sleep. As a kid in Wyoming I could sleep in a room that was 55 degrees F. with six blankets and be perfectly snug. Now as a firefighter I've been looking for a similar feeling while at the fire station. The weight of the blanket is about perfect, when it's cool enough. This blanket is just a tad too warm and a bit too small. I know it's supposed to run somewhat small, but on a twin bed being a slightly larger than average man the blanket is often falling off either one side or the other. But it's still better than 6 blankets and roasting all night. If you're just looking for weight, it's a good buy, if you want to stay cool... ya might want to think twice.

We loved this blanket for about the first month. My 15 month old daughter doesn't stay asleep at night and this was really helping and it was still light enough for her weight that it wasn't a safety issue. Well now it does absolutely NOTHING for her because all of the beads have shifted to the edges of the blanket so there is nothing but cloth in the middle so there is no weight on her. I came back to Amazon to see if I could return it and the return window closed YESTERDAY!! I am so disapointed! I didn't wash it in the washer because I bought a cover for it and I would take that off and wash it instead. I was afraid the washer would ruin it even though it's supposed to be washable. I guess it didn't matter because just laying the blanket on her in bed or wrapping her in it was enough to ruin it. So it was a complete waste of money now that I can't return it and because my daughter needs it to sleep I have to spend more money to replace it and these are not cheap and it was hard to find a 3lb weighted blanket. Hopefully I can find another one and the beads won't shift like this one. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this weighted blanket by Sonaice.EDIT: Oh and PS the "pink" blanket is very much purple NOT pink as stated. This was not a problem for me as I thought it looked purple on the screen and that's actually the color I wanted. Just be warned it looks very much purple in person not pink. (Cons first because I assume most people are like me and wanna know the flaws of the product)The beads do move around. The stitching between the pockets of beads is bigger than the beads themselves, so they just fall through. But it comes with these convenient little loops that you could use to hang it up on a wall (folded hot dog style, of course) to let the beads pool back to where they're most beneficial.Now, on to what I like about this blanket.It was delivered quickly to my P.O. box and was very heavy and comforting. I have autism, insomnia, and anxiety. My anxiety manifests itself as a sort of tingling in my feet and legs that makes me feel like i need to run around. Well, this blanket wasn't even the right weight for me (I got it for my scrawny boyfriend and I'd need one 5 lbs heavier to be ideal) and that anxious tingling in my legs goes away the second I throw it over myself. I sleep deeper than I've ever slept before. I feel super rested when I wake up in the morning. I love this blanket, and it hurt me to give it to my boyfriend for his birthday. Now that I am without the comfort of this wonderful blanket, my sleep has suffered. I'll be ordering another blanket for myself, because it was absolutely perfect. Thank you for improving my relationship with sleep.

Loved this blanket for my son until tonight. He woke up saying there was "crumbs" all over the bed. Turned on the light and there was at least three tears in the blanket and hundreds/thousands of these little beads ALL over the bed. He hadn't used this even every night and only used maybe 15-20 nights total. We also did not wash it yet so it wasn't anything to do with that. I liked it until then. I will be returning it very soon for a refund.
