Lux Guardian Air F159A, F159B, 00498 Germicidal UV Bulb for Air Purifiers

I have been using these bulbs since 2012 when I inherited my air purifier. I bought two bulbs in 2017 an the last one just went out this past week, three years total, not bad. Hope this one will last just as long!

I purchased a Lux Guardian Air machine at an estate sale. I was so pleased to find that I could order the filters for it online at Amazon. The filters arrived promptly, they are packed nicely, and they work perfectly in my air cleaning machine. I am very happy.

It was nice to find an identical product for a lot less money, but the bulb started clicking and flickering today, after only approximately 3,600 hours (5 months of constantly running our air purifier) of the guaranteed 10,000 hours of life. I quote the listing: "It has an average life of 10,000 hours. All lamps listed are the highest quality compatible brand UV products. Buy Wholesale from the Importer. We stand behind our products and Guarantee Same day Shipment and 100% Buyer Satisfaction. All lamps are brand NEW, packaged individually and are 100% Guaranteed"It was also disappointing to not have a way to report the performance of the bulb. I do not see a way to claim their guarantee.
