Worked good after I found a power supply
It all worked good. The only problem was it did not come with a power supply for the TiVo and I contacted the seller but they never responded.

Difficult to learn. Overly comples without careful reading of the manual I found online.
I couldn't even find where my recordings were. After two fearful days I finally found directions in a manual I found on the internet. Now I am satisfied with the unit. The performance is good, picture quality and sound is superior to Spectrum cable's DVD. If anything it has too much function. It seems the design tried to provide more than I need but still it is good.WeaKnees customer service is excellent! When my first unit couldn't finish its setup they quickly sent a second Tivo without waiting for the return of the bad one and with two day shipping. Great job!Amazon only offered to have me return the unit for a refund in up to 14 days. I contacted weeKnees and they gave me there phone # and within an hour we had an agreement to get my replacement ASAP.

TiVo Roamio
We got rid of cable and bought an antenna and TiVo Roamio. Love both products. Not sorry we canceled cable. We figure in 3 months it will pay for itself. We have a guide just like a our DVR, records up to 4 shows, has voice activated remote, stores up to 150 hours of programs.

Subscription requred, even if it is free and that is the problem
DISH TV took off CBS and I wanted to get that channel. I can get CBS with an antenna. I bought this so I could record the shows on that network. First problem. No instructions in box. Figured it out. Power cord into power plug hole, USB device into USB port. Antenna wire to antenna feed. Had to find a HDMI or male to male USB cable because none was included. Found a HDMI so used that. Turned TV to that HDMI port. Plugged in TIVO. Went thru set up. Got connected to internet, got channels listed, could watch them thru the TIVO unit. But all channels had a note that TIVO was not available. Have to have a subscription. So called and set that up. No cost but still. Then had to go thru set up again. Got to "accessing account info" and it stopped saying "unable to get account info." Unplugged it and tried again, same thing, over and over. Called TIVO and got told that my internet speed was too slow. 15 MPS is too slow? They told me I had to do the initial set up with a ethernet cable to the modem. They did not supply one. I would need a 50 foot cable to reach from where the antenna and TV is to where the modem is. I asked them that once I got past that would I still need internet access to make this thing work and they said yes. So did I want to go buy a 50 foot ethernet cable or not? Even if I did that how could I be sure the WIFI would be sufficient in the future or would I have to keep that cable hooked up all the time? I decided it was not worth it and sent it back. I am going to find a recorder that works without having to be connected to the internet. Who knows, I may just hook up my old VCR and use that, it was a lot less hassle than this thing.

Doesn't use a lot of wifi/internet
We bought this to replace an amazon fire recast, Great product connects to tv via hdmi cable, only needs wifi/internet to get updates on guide, or any streaming,

Not the best experience.
Not a great experience. I am giving two stars because the item came perfectly packaged and in great new condition, but it was advertised as no subscription needed dvd recorder but it was not possible to set it up without a subscription. After returning it had to go through Amazon to get the refund. All in all it worked out but it seemed like more trouble than worth. Just ended up renewing my dish service

love it but a pain getting it set up.
Love the TIVO. this is our 2nd one. This one was a pain getting set up. The remote has to pair with the unit. Supposed to happen when you go through the set up. It didn't because the unit also didn't update to the latest software. Spent several hours going to their web sites nothing was working right. When the unit locked up on me the only way I could clear the screen was to disconnect the power. When I plugged it back in the unit went through an update and then I was able to pair the remote. So far it is working great.
