Frigidaire316455400 Range Oven Control Board

Two weeks before Thanksgiving my 10 year old stove clock module had pushed in however the stove still worked. I opened the lid and found that the clock module housing plastic had broken off at the corners so I fashioned a makeshift support that actually worked up until three days before Thanksgiving stopped working all together and being a troubleshooter that I think I am I traced the problem to to clock module had actually fried. So I went web surfing to see if I could replace the clock module or if I needed a new stove. I went to the manufacturer website that asked me for the model number. I located the model number however three of the middle numbers couldn’t be made out clearly but I did learn that the stove I had also had same make in other brands by the actual manufacturer but the clock module model number on my stove is what I was trying to locate with some progress but not exact. I called a couple of repair shops and they were no help at all. I decided to check Amazon and where is ask for brand and model and knowing the first three and last two numbers I was able actually find my stove number. Went back to the manufacturer to enter the model number and discovered this module fit about 8 other models and brands and this helped going back to Amazon because I was able to confirm this module was the correct one. I pulled the stove from the wall, disconnected the power, went outside and also turned off the breaker for the kitchen, used rubber gloves and took the lid of the stove off. I put the new one up to the old one and put the cables from old to new in same order. Re installed the lid, plugged the stove back in, returned it to the space, turned the breaker back on and it came to life. Here’s to another 10 years!

After reading on the internet why the oevn and broiler both stopped working at the same time, it was clear it was the controller board. Good price, came quick and fairly easy to install. My suggestion is before you start to unplu the wires from the back of the controller unit (before you unplug the whole stuff ) take a picture of the wires on the back of the controller since they are all color coordinated and makes it easy to re-install them. easy peazy!! B U T, the only thing that I wasn't happy about was that for an extra $10.00, they should include a new face overlay because you have to peel off the old one and re-apply it to the new controller. it didn't come off nicely! took some of the paint off the face and looked terrible. had to order the face overly separately and then wait for it to come in and take the controller back out to install the new face overlay. I'd willingly paid the extra $10.00 for a new face over lay include with the controller. Other than that, works great and easy to install. Don't pay for a service call when this is an easy DIY project you can do!

We have an older Frigidaire oven (Model FEB24S2ABD) that quite working and that takes a 316455500 controller board. The 316455500 was impossible to find except direct from the manufacturer for around $200. I read some reviews that said that this board would work in the 316455500's place. Took a chance (since it beat spending $1600 or even $200) on ordering this. It has the same pin-outs as the 316455500 and is the exact same size, going into the oven panel and all screw holes lining up. Hooked the new board up and fired up the oven and all has been working perfectly so far.So, far anyone that needs the 316455500 this appears to be a valid alternative.

Our stove top would work but our oven and broiling function stopped. We checked the heating elements and the wiring to them and they looked good. With our meter we checked the power coming from the wall and that was good. I did a little reserch (Google and You Tube) and found out that 90% of the time it is the clock or what is called the oven controlled board that goes bad. This was easy to do your self. Take a pic of the wiring before you undo the wires. That way you can reference it if you have problems re attaching them. I pulled the decal plate off the old control board with a butter knife on the edges and stuck it to the new one. Other than that it is a few screws to take off and put back on.

Bought the replacement part FRIGIDAIRE 316455400 Range Oven Control Board. This replacement part looks somewhat different from the original part, which concerned me, but mounting holes matched up perfectly. I had taken photos of the wiring connections before I removed old part. However, I did not need them because wiring instructions that came with the new part were very easy to follow and accurate to the photos I took. The control overlay would not come off the old broken board. The new 316220700 Replacement Overlay fit perfectly and oven works great again.

Beats paying $360 for sears to come out and replace it like last time. Did my troubleshooting and pointed to a bad panel. Ordered this, and from start to end of process took about 15 minutes.Great value for the money and plenty of resources to be able to fix it yourself with minimal effort.

The control board is easy to install and fixed the issue with my oven. (Broil & bake both went out at the same time) BUT.... it makes a high pitch buzz. It's slight but it's enough to be annoying while in the kitchen

Exactly as the description says, very easy to install and good price. I was quoted $175 cad at an appliance store and final sale with no return policy. Saved 50 bucks (with the option to return) and did it within 5 minutes. My Oven had the issue of the broil and bake not working, I checked the elements and they were fine, check the wiring it was good, so Next step was replacing this part. Highly recommend this seller

The part arrived a day early and, at first, we thought a mistake had been made. The back of the part looked different and the part number was different. We messaged the seller and got a reply right away. They said they would verify with the warehouse manager, who said it was correct and with this brand the part numbers can differ. However, they said if this was untrue and it was the wrong one they would give us a full refund.We installed it and our oven works again perfectly fine. Glad to have it up and running!
