I love using this work light. It certainly ticks all the boxes being bright, lightweight and a long battery life between charges. I particularly like the light distribution of this light, which is even and almost shadowless. I use for technical work around electrics, mechanics and electronics where good illumination of the interior of some of my machines is vital. The design of this light makes it easy to insert into tight spaces to light up interiors. The ability to variably adjust the light intensity makes for a versatility that some stepped dimmers cannot match. And the ability to magnetically attach the light to ferrous metalwork can come in handy. Battery life is important, where the last thing you want is for it to run down before you're completed your work. Handy is that the battery not only lasts a long time but provides an indication via LEDs as to the state of charge. And Charging is by any USB source, so likely easy to charge wherever you are if you've got the cable in your pocket. This was a good purchase on my part. Everyone who sees it passes comment on its unconventional design features.

Please see update at the bottom! Brought this torch as I’m a roadside mechanic, it’s super bright and has a very good lighting spread. However it takes a while to charge and is very hit and miss to what charge you have in it. Will have one bar then jump up to 5 bar in a few minutes. The battery also seems to last anything from 20 to 60 minutes. Will show fully charged then drop to one bar and be flat within a few minutes. Real shame as the rest of the torch is spot on. Potentially just got one with a faulty battery. UPDATE the company contacted me shortly after this review and sent me a new light free of charge. The new free light came within two days and works spot on. Battery lasts around 10 hours with medium use. I’d say you’d get 4-6 hours at half light constantly on ( this is plenty bright enough) would now recommend

Good light. Good magnet, poor battery life unlike advertised, maybe 1-2 hours on full brightness, but for the price you can’t complain too much!

There are a lot of LED inspection lights on the market. Many are rubbish and spending more doesn't guarantee that you will get a good one. After a lot of research I decided not to go for a foldable one as there are reports of cables breaking. I chose the rechargeable Renogy 700 lumens LED Work Light and I have not been disappointed. I have used it for two jobs on my 1968 MGC GT, one job on my Stanley cooker/range, and during a brief power cut. 1) The light on full power is very bright. At 700 lumens its is the brighest one that I found in my research. Do not, I repeat, do not look at the light, you will hurt your eyes. Heed the warning on the box, even at low power settings. 2) It seems robust and can be wiped down with a rag after work. 3) The power status indicator is clear and intuitive as is the brightness control knob 4) It comes fully charged but I connected a charging led to the micro USB socket, just to make sure. The rubber cover is fine but treat it gently. 5) The magnetic mount is strong. It was hard to remove it from the hotplate cover of my Stanley range! So after four days I am very happy with my purchase and I intend to buy a second one its that good, especially at the price point that I purchased it (£13.99).

Light is very bright ,easy to charge and portable

It’s a nice light with good magnet and is very bright when turned up to the max. The battery life does let it down though. Even at half brightness it doesn’t last long. Not too bad for the price.

This inspection lamp works very well. I like the brightness control and its ease of use. Hopefully the switch will stand the test of time. I found that attaching a large square galvanised steel washer (2 x 2 x 1/8 inch) to the magnetic base enabled the angle of the lamp to be easily adjusted when the lamp was resting on a flat surface. It also enables the lamp to be stood upright and angled to as much as 45 deg (if not on a magnetic surface).

It is quite bright and handy.
