Great Monitor...
I love this monitor. It is big and the picture is clear and sharp.Although it is 43" it takes up less space than others this size because the legsonly raise it a few inches up. I needed something that was 25" or less to fitunder a hutch and this just makes it as it is 24.9" all assembled. It was easy to put the legs on and hook it up. There is a button in the backwhich controls the On Screen Display and let's you make adjustments to thecolor, brightness etc. To make it even easier this comes with a remote thatdoes all of that as well.I hooked it up with the HDMI Cable (included) then set the sound on my computerto HDMI so there is no need for speakers. The sound comes through nicelyon the built in speakers (one less thing on my desk). There is one dead pixel that is near the top and doesn't bother me, but it is there.Otherwise this is a great monitor especially at this price point.I bought this to replace a Philips that died on me, replaced it with an AOC thatdidn't do the job so returned it to Amazon and ordered this one. I am very happywith this purchase.

Came with defect
Bought this to replace an Acer model ET430K that had an led go bad.In comparison, this was lighter in weight. Sreen reflection was not as bad as I had read, better that the one I currently have. As far as comparing brightness, although this is rated not as bright as an et430k, it looked great, picture seemed better as well.... except for the defect.....Defect was some large white spots in the middle of the screen. Very disappointed with this as there are currently none available for exchange.I would buy this again and again till I got one without a defect if available. Price is great, as it the picture quality ( outside the defect ).Will try and wait for another to get into stock. For now a one star review.

Great value, and it acts as a monitor
I got this on sale and it’s great. Its got a beautiful crisp picture for the price I got it you can’t do better. Also, to correct some mistakes about other reviews, this does have a DisplayPort. I’m guessing if you missed that port, you might have missed the correct HDMI port to connect to as well. The best picture comes from the DisplayPort and then the HDMI 60hz port. There are also two 30hz HDMI ports which would definitely give you TV quality picture if you connected to them. So that’s most likely what happened if you got a TV quality picture. It also does come with a remote. That should be standard with monitors this size. You will probably be sitting further than arms distance and you want to be able to dial in your settings from where you are at. But, you can adjust them on the bottom of the monitor if you need to.The downside with this monitor is the picture settings won’t save for each input. It’s really annoying switching inputs and having to switch the the picture mode as well. If you just use this as a monitor and never need to switch inputs, that’s fine. But, I have a PC connected to the DP and a PS5 to HDMI and I use a custom picture settings for each and I don’t like that I have to keep switching that when I change the inputs.I also don’t like it when the VESA mount isn’t balanced on the back of monitors. This should be standard with monitors since it’s common to rotate monitors into portrait mode. You can’t do that with this monitor because all the weight will be on one side and it won’t stay put. I also use picture-by-picture mode a lot, which effectively acts as two 1080 monitors. I do this when I need to monitor my PC while I am gaming, but there is a lot of wasted real estate. You should be able to rotate the monitor into portrait and use a top and bottom split screen to take advantage of all that space.

Acer product with no quality control, clump of dead pixels, and damaged coating
Shipped to me with an obvious clump of dead pixels in the middle of the screen, as well as severe damage to the screen coating. There is zero quality control. That being said it's the size and resolution I wanted so I bought it expecting this from Acer. I don't even think I'd give this away, it's so bad it's going in the trash when replaced. Thanks Acer

Best Monitor I've Ever Owned
Amazing picture quality, can easily fit two full sized screens to work on multiple projects, very easy to set up and comes with some great cables for audiophiles and gamers.

Not as bright as ET430K, but does the job.
Its a decent monitor but not as good as ET430k, which is also a 43 inch 4k monitor from Acer.Pros:- Very light compared to ET430k (about half the weight)- Less image retention compared to ET430k- Remote controlCons:- Low max brightness (250 cd/m2 compared to 350 of ET430k). This is really noticable once you put them side by side.- Stand is quite poorly designed, needs more desk space compared to ET430k. Also lower in height- No tilt in standOnce your eyes get used to the lower brightness (if you have been using a monitor that gives 350 cd/m2), it will be a great monitor. Give it a week to get used to

Gives a feel of a dumb LCD TV rather than a LED Monitor
1. The performance of this monitor is just of an average monitor or a TV for the 40k+ price.2. It is not a complete LED setup and has a LCD panel in front of the backlights because of which the display is dim & lacks the color vibrance; and the contrast is very dull even at Max tuning.3. The LCD film behind the front flat panel is not straight which leaves swirl with varying brightness hotspots at multiple spots on edges.4. The HDR setup fails to impress while gaming. Even the bright colors look dull throughout the gameplay.5. There is no VESA Mount provided, as mentioned in the Q&As. The static stand doesn't have tilt function and is not adjustable in terms of height or angle. Also the size is comparatively too wide which takes up too much space on the desk.6. Most of the cable ports are facing downwards which makes it ugly for cable management with visible cords at the bottom of the screen.7. The frame and the screen has gaps which over time will deposit fine dust at the edges.Overall the look, the performance and the behaviour is of a standard Smart 4K TV which would cost less than half the price of this monitor from the same manufacturer and even the competitors. Infact a 4K LED TV will offer better visibility & contrast ratios with same 60Hz setup.

Be careful of getting used monitor. Great picture quality.
seems to be the only 4k 42inch+ monitor available at around 40k, Be careful of second hand monitors, received a scratched and used product, after making a complaint monitor was promptly replaced, the replacements had two dents in the back but seemed new, since i urgently needed a monitor i kept it. The picture quality is great.

Good value for the price.
Excellent product for the price. Display is very good. The inbuilt-speakers do a pretty decent job. The remote control is a nice add-on.
