PartsCollection Heatsink Fan for HP Pavilion Desktop 570-p017c

I ordered this fan/heatsink to solve a fan warning from my computer. Previous Amazon reviews alerted that there might be a heatsink dimensions problem. There was. I have an HP Pavilion Desktop 570-p027C. The new heatsink is too thick to fit my computer because the four mounting screws are too short. I removed the new heatsink (four small screws) from the new fan and attached the old heat sink. Problem solved. It takes a little dexterity and small screwdrivers to exchange the heat sinks. Fortunately there was enough residual heat conductive material left on the motherboard from the detachment of the old heatsink. I did not have any of this conductive material. If you have a source, you might want to add a little to the old heatsink.

Thankfully I only really needed the fan because the heat sink stand-offs were way too tall. And yes, I confirmed the model number.
