I bought this for my daughter, a huge Harry Potter fan, she was pleasantly surprised each day she opened the calendar, and was not disappointed with any of the magical items. Her husband & 9 year old son also joined in on the fun.

My granddaughter loved it could not wait to open each window nice little gifts a nice change from chocolate I woul purchase again

Don’t Buy one, they are dreadful.I write further to this purchase that was made as a special gift to a friendToo say I’m disappointed is an understatement and I asked my friend to send photos and a couple of small videos to how bad it was and the disappointment in the giftsThe calendar was a nightmare to get the doors open, the card is so tough on the doors that the perforations have not cut into it properly meaning I would accidently rip the calendar if I used my fingers to open the doors, so I decided to use the scissors and I have filmed it so you can see just how tough the card actually is.Then there is the fact that the gifts are rammed so tightly into the plastic packaging that as you will see from the photo's and the film I had to prize them out with the scissors!Then the gifts...the playing cards, note books and magic wand pen are fine but the pencils, stickers and rubbers are pretty duff, especially when you see that the pencils are identical and lets not forget that 3 gifts were missing and there was no ‪23rd of December‬!!! there was a door with no number on it, which I photographed but nothing behind it!Honestly ...how terrible it would have been if a child had received this as their advent calendar , and you should point out that in all honesty you could get better licenced Harry Potter Stationary in the 'Pound Shop' for a fraction of the price.I hope you will find this to be unacceptable your self and offer me a full refund.Pls contact me via Amazon

Disappointing overall. From the quality of the actual box to the overall quality of the surprises it wasn’t great. He got 6 rubbers for a start, almost if the gifts fell out their slot and so they all collected at the bottom, this meant that more often than not he opened what appeared to be an empty door. Mixture of 6 different stickers, a paper clip, 4 notepads, 4 other notepads....not the most exciting! Admittedly the 2 pencils were lovely 😂 oh and the wand pen for the 24th doesn’t work as the ink well keeps sliding out it.

Very disappointed 8 year old this morning. There were two in door 2 yesterday but nothing in door 3. Its been very difficult for her to open the doors on this calendar too. Turns out, the sections that hold the items are too small to hold the items securely and half of them fell out of place. Today, I had to cut the box open (there is no way to open easily or discretely) and pulled out the tray to see what happened. I found the gifts and had to use tape stuck back on itself to secure the items in place for the subsequent days of advent. This calendar is expensive enough without having to do all that! Never again!
