4 Inch Thick Twin XL Size Comfort Select 5.5 Memory Foam Mattress Pad Topper

I ordered this at the end of Feb 2012 in the Twin XL and I am VERY pleased with it. Shipping was fast and in a little box you'd never think contained a mattress! I didn't know what to expect, for this is my first "topper". I had read other reviews and knew to wait several days before using it (I did not notice any odor as some have mentioned having to "air out"). I then placed it right on the rather firm mattress that came on my adjustable bed and covered both with one mattress cover - they work fine together. All my sheets and comforters fit, and it flexes with the adjustable bed - all a surprise. Best of all, I sleep so comfortably now and truly feel no pressure anywhere (I have had back, neck, and shoulder surgeries in the past few years). Think "sleeping on a cloud". So happy I waited on buying the one in the store I considered - for many dollars more. I happened upon this during a sale, but it would well be worth the full price!

Feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud, but it sinks in quite a bit by the time I wake up, and it holds a lot of heat.

I purchased the 4" mattress topper for my husband's hospital bed. He has a regular "mattress" that comes with the bed. I replaced an air mattress with this memory foam mattress. He used to toss and turn all night, never getting much sleep. After letting the memory foam mattress air out and expand to its 4" thickness, (I waited 24 hrs.) which wasn't really necessary, sleep came within 15 minutes, and lasted all night. I feel better, knowing that finally he can sleep soundly, on a bed that is soft like a "real" bed.

Do not buy. After a whole day the mattress still never went to full size. It was packaged so poorly. Unfortunately I don't think we can return because the package was opened. It will go into the garbage. It also had a terrible smell to the packaging. Like rotten milk or something. Do not but this one. It is a total waste of money!

I've used this for a whole school year now, it isn't a bad product per say,it just isn't great. It never fully poofed up from the packaging and after a few months it was totally flat on the side where my head was. I flipped it over when it got really bad, but it really doesn't hold its shape. I wouldn't buy it again.

So my youngest is in college and would constantly look like a zombie, not only from the late hours but also from those uncomfortable college dorm mattresses. Well I couldn't help myself, I just had to be a Mom. Looked around at tons of "memory foam" mattress covers and settled on this one. (Even reviewed comparison charts that you can find online.)First: It was delivered in a timely manner. (To a college in Boston!)Second: He didn't complain about the smell so I am assuming that noxious gas dissipated quickly. (remember all memory foam mattress pads need to be aired out at least 24-72 hours - I have another review on a California King size one that I got for myself that goes into that).Three: He reports that his bed has become very popular (hmm, maybe I should worry about that).Four: He says that he is sleeping soooo much better. Which is something for any college student.(Side note: Going to have to talk him about #3 above.)All in all I would say this was a perfect buy. For those who can afford this and have college students, I think this plus a padded mattress cover should be part of your purchases before dropping your li'l darlin's off at the dorms.

I got this for my Granddaughter to take to college. Dorm beds are the greatest.....first night she used it she text me to tell me "It was haven"

This was purchased for my granddaughters dorm room. Because of a negative post we almost didn't. But we are both glad that we did. She thinks she has the most comfortable bed at college. She had to trust me that this would actually be a 4" thick pad. It extended to that in a short period of time. This is worth the price and risk.
