We've been using eneloop batteries for the last 12 or so years
We liked the batteries so much, we thought we'd pick up a starter set for a close friend and the best way to do so was to purchase a 4-pack of AA with charger and an 8-pack of AAA batteries since he needed 4 AA and 6 AAA batteries for the two devices we purchased for him. Now he's able to recharge the batteries overnight when they need to be and will never be without a battery. If you buy the eneloop batteries for a good price they will easily last you more than 10 years and that's better than dumping non-rechargeable batteries in the trash
