Originally I left 1 star on this product thinking it was defective. Turns out my dashcam didn’t work because I wired it incorrectly for my 2017 CRV. After searching online for the right configuration, this product was able to power my Thinkware F200 in both continuous recording mode and parking mode.If the wires didn’t work for you the first time, I’d highly recommend spending more time researching the right way to wire things for your car. You’d need to make sure the correct fuses are tapped. This process is different for each car. But the quality of this product shouldn’t be questioned, because it works quite well.

The hardwire kit included with the thinkware cams is only 10 feet (3 meters), which is too short for my Dodge Challenger's rear trunk fuse box. This kit adds enough length and includes the fuse taps which makes it really easy to install. I do recommend buying a fuse tester to find the correct fuses you need to tap to get both Battery and ACC power.

Includes more than you need to cleanly hardware your dashcam - fuse taps in all sizes, extra fuses, the wiring kit and separate inline fuses. The OEM Thinkware kit doesn't include the fuse taps just bare wire ends, so I'm glad I had this kit and it's cheaper.If you think can install this without a voltage tester/multimeter, you might be able to but it's incredibly frustrating even if you think you know which fuses are live/accessory.However, after 6 months the cabling internally shorted and won't work anymore - when I replaced the installation I found no damage or pinch points on the jacket so it had to be internal. I gave 4 stars review because the durability appears good (thick cable, excellent sturdy fuse taps) so I can only assume this was a fluke.

This hardwire kit came with everything needed to connect my Thinkware F200 Dash Cam. I currently run a Thinkware FA200 Dash Cam with an interior IR cam up front. So I needed a kit with extra length to run a second F200 camera to the rear of my 2014 Toyota RAV4. The extra 3 feet that this kit provides over the OEM kit gives JUST ENOUGH length to reach the interior fuse box inside the car. If I had used the OEM kit, I would not have had enough length to complete my install. Bullet style connectors, additional fuses and fuse taps, and the cheaper cost over the OEM kit made this kit great value. I've been using it for over two weeks now and have not had any issues.

Best Buy wanted to charge me 100 dollars to install my dash cam. Because I am cheap and the camera was expensive, I put my big girls bloomers on, found a YouTube video and installed the camera myself. I got an amp/voltage tester and crimping tool and followed directions from the YouTube video and saved 100 bucks. This hardwire kit works perfectly. Save the money and do it yourself 🥳

I did try to hardwire but the thing is it wont turn on when i tap it on constant to constant ,switch to switch but when i try to tap it on constant to constant both wire it worked ! But i didnt want to do it because dont want to drain my battery ! Can anyone help me bout this?

i have a 2019 hyundai which makes all of the provided add-a-circuits useless. ok so that part is TOTALLY my fault i should have checked first.the reason for 1 star off is had i actually been able to use this kit there is an issue where i got a third micro fuse and am missing a low profile fuse end.none of this matters now since the only usable part is the harness itself.still kudos for the lower price on the whole deal with the extra parts.this was actually cheaper than buying the harness alone.now i have to trek out on the web to see who has a sub mini add-a-circuit to fit a hyundai fuse block.

Hardwired a thinkware u1000 to my cars fuse box running from a backup battery. Came with a low profile fuse tap and worked like a charm. Highly recommended!
