I have given up on alkaline batteries; if I leave them in a device for more than a few months, they leak and then I have to take them to hazmat and clean the terminals of the device, which is sometimes very difficult. So, despite the expense, I've decided to go only with Lithium for my AAA, AA, C and D needs. However, one can't just buy primary lithium C and D cells, so these adapters are necessary to get C-sized Li primary batteries.

Product didn't fix my flash light diemions were correct wouldn't fit

using them in my cat's surefeed microchip feeder it takes 4 C size batteries but didn't want to buy C size rechargeables along with a charger for C batteries ... these work great and using 4 AAA batteries for one C size cartridge provide long battery life better than using one AA battery to C size adapter

The idea is great for using AAA batteries in C battery scenarios if you have more of, say rechargeable AAA than your need for C type batteries.Has all the basic quality of materials to do its job. These AAA to C adapter would work well, I believe for numerous uses at home and on most jobs, but having more batteries in a unit will increase the chances of leakage and battery swelling. I've seen adapters with similar material split with the force of a swollen battery. Just be careful of that. The metal conductor parts looks coated, hope it doesn't corrode easily. Only time will tell. I'm putting it to infrequent use, so it'll be fine for my purpose.

Did not replace C Battery as expected. It was a waste of money.

This product is too wide to fit most modern flashlights once the AAA batteries are installed. Works great on products that have room for it to fit.
