Harbinger Classic Oiled Leather Weightlifting Belt

I bought this belt because it reminded me of the Golden Era when it comes to body building. I wanted something vintage and simple, so i figured i'd buy this belt.Let me start off by saying, as soon as i opened this belt from the plastic housing, the latch IMMEDIATELY ripped off. The latch where the remainder of your belt tucks into after it is on. I said, "hey, lets just keep at it. maybe it just needs to be broken in."The following week, the belt ripped in half, right down the middle. Absolutely trash quality. Not to mention, this belt is fairly expensive. I was extremely disappointed at the fact that i had such high expectations for this belt considering its from a reputable manufacturer. I would upload pictures, but honestly, I dont even want to waste my time going to the car and pulling it out of my gym bag.Thanks for wasting my time, and money.

Reason why I gave it a 4 is because it’s not comfortable for me. I don’t know if it’s becaue I’m fat and it pinches me or it’s the belt. I will try loosing some weight and I will rewrite the review if anything changes. It might take a year.

some of these reviews here are obviously bogus. this is a fine piece of good quality leather from Pakistan. came in a long box so as to stay straight. love the color and thickness and support. my only gripe is I wished I ordered the large as I use it on the last hole for the buckle and I might just add a couple more holes. but good quality overall.. hope it lasts for years

BEST BELT, if you oil it it wont split in 3 months, premium leather oil it after arrival, red wings boot oil or lanolin leather oil. This belt provides excellent back support for squats, deadlifts, and moving furniture.

I bought this product for my my son who is a college freshman football player. After a couple of uses the leather literally broke all of the way through in a coupe of different spots making it unsafe to use. Products like this should last a lifetime but when you handle it, it is almost like it feels more like card board than leather. I have had Harbinger weight belts before but this is not a quality product.

Well made and sturdy. My husband had been a weight lifter for many years and believes in the old school equipment. Our daughter is now lifting, so we bought one for her. Great quality!

Great belt, can't find them in stores anymore. Had one like this when I was competing 15 years ago, going back into competition, had to have one.

Worked well for about a month. Then the leather ripped like paper. Complete garbage.

Zero star for this product. It's a fake product which did not even last for 3 months . Total waste of money .
