Got this for my son. He loves the weight. Helps him sleep like a rock. Warm on cool nights, breathable on warm.

I purchased this weighted blanket to replace a smaller 17lbs 60”x80” blanket for my bed. My previous blanked just wasn’t large enough for my queen size bed, sharing with my wife. This blanket however, extends far enough that it covers both our bodies without the constant struggle of getting stuck with the edge and fighting to get more. Even though this one is heavier overall, the weight distribution is about the same as my previous blanked at about 1/2 lbs per square foot. I don’t quite agree with the “10% of your body weight” recommendation for these blankets, especially when you take into consideration the distribution with larger blankets, and the fact that not everything lays over your body (especially when half is shared with someone else.) This blanket is closer to 16% of my body weight and it’s incredibly comfortable. I feel like I could even increase the weight to 20-25% and be happy—which i’ll occasionally do by folding the edge over and doubling the weight over me. The quilted squares are 4 3/4” in size which is a good size for even weight distribution. My other blanket was close to double that and I could feel as the glass beads would pool to one side of each pocket. Overall I am very happy with this blanket and glad I purchased it.My only complaint is that the stitching quality of the quilted squares is pretty poor. After a week of use, I’m noticing several spots in the middle of the blanket where the stitching is unraveling for no apparent reason. If this continues, I fear some of the pockets will merge, or worse, it will extend to the edges and leak out. Longevity is important to me, so even though I love this blanked, I knocked off a star due to these concerns. I’ll update this review if the issue worsens over time.

I can't believe I waited so long to get a weighted blanket. And this one is perfect! Weight is just right for me, it's evenly distributed, and it's reasonably attractive. Most importantly, I sleep more soundly. Recommend!

I have to make sure the blanket is evenly distributed on the top of the mattress, and not going over the edge of the mattress, lest the weight will pull the blanket to that side of the bed. Similarly, if the blanket goes over the end of the bed, the weight of it shifts a bit to the end of the blanket and leaves less "weighted-ness" at the top. However, when the blanket is positioned just right, it is the perfect comfort to have on the bed in cold months -- both warm enough (but not too hot) and weighted enough (without feeling overly heavy). I am glad that I bought it.

I bought one of these for myself and loved it so much I bought one as a gift for my boyfriend. This blanket definitely helps me sleep sounder and my boyfriend loves his too!

I didn’t like this blanket at all. A couple things bothered me about it compared to other brands.Firstly, the outer material definitely doesn’t feel like “100% cotton” but more like cheap synthetic polyester that reminds me of Costco windbreakers. I hate the feeling of it against my skin and silk bedsheets.Also, the seams are not well sewn, so there are loose threads and some squares will definitely come loose in the wash so the weight beads will shift and become more uneven.The weight itself is an awkward feeling that varies between claustrophobic sleep paralysis for the lower half of the body while not feeling comforting secure in the upper half. Definitely not getting any better sleep with this and even more fitful tossing and turning in the night trying to get comfortable.Lastly, the color is drab and not as light as I wanted. It is the color of cheap airplane seats and there aren’t many options to choose from to begin with.I would urge anyone who is planning to keep it to reconsider washing it, since it seems likely to come apart and make a mess in the washing machine. A dry cleaner would probably be a safer option, but the cost of maintaining it with their fees is definitely not worth it.

I own a 4 of the weighted blankets and I'm absolutely in love with all of them. I'm ordering pretty soon 2more. Keep in mind that blanket fit a body not the bad and I'm just fine with that. I just love how blanket hugs me and keeps me warm when is cold and cool when is hot.

EDIT: I got a card with this blanket that said if I leave a review I would get a gift card... here’s my review... where’s my gift card? My blanket is so heavy and comfortable. It reminds me of the lead apron for X-rays at the dentist. Feels very comforting and it’s made very well. EDIT: TRUTH... however, It appears like it came dirty from their store, and it’s so heavy I wouldn’t know how to wash it. Some of the stitching is frayed; you get what you pay for I guess.
