When i am using my portal to talk to others, my voice echos back to me from the people's portal that i am talking with. how do i stop this?

Unlike using a headset mic, when you talk through portal, you are using far-field mic(s) to pick up your voice. with far field voice, TV sound also gets picked and send over to your friends. Same happens on your friends side, and what does his TV outputs? Whatever you just said. This is the reason why you hear echo of your own voice while you are talking. The echo you heard actually traveled from your end to the other end and back. To reduce this you need something called AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation), my guess is either this is not included in portal, or not as good as it needs to be.

A puck is a battery of sorts. The puck can be used to get power to the Portal.

How do you interact with it?

You interact with Portal TV using the remote (provided) or with the Portal app after you’ve set up your device.

Does this have the digital photos like the older portal?

Yes, when not in use and if your Portal TV is on the device will display photos. You can add albums as well from the Portal app that display on your TV. It’s really great to see your photos on a big screen especially during parties and events at home.
