Very good
I bought this book for my Mom because she learns Hebrew. The text can be understood quite easily. Maybe only some of the pictures are frightening a little bit.

Adorable
I'm a published picturebook author and ex-librarian. I happen to know Hebrew. This is a very cute story about a lion who want's only strawberries . . .until he actually gets a bunch of them. Fooyah! From then on he's a good little lion and eats whatever his mother gives him.The illustrations are effective and stylish but some pix just don't cut it (a little severe with the red outline). I really like this book. The Hebrew is very basic, lots of food words and not one verb that would tax a beginner.

Useful moral
I got this book from my cousin and his wife who teaches in Israel. My three year old enjoys this book and we've read it several times. One moral in the book seems to be to show someone how obsessing on one item can lead to overindulgence and missing out on other. It's told gently and comedically and the pictures are great. Plenty of little items that we can learn how to say in Hebrew throughout the narrative.
