What I really like about this harness is it actually fit my 81lb pit bull.I went to the store, I went online & was becoming discouraged until I found this. The reviews were great but so were the other ones. Sometimes, you have to walk by faith.This harness arrived & appeard to be too big. TOO BIG.....UUUUUUGH, until I adjusted the strap....duh. Guess I was use to being disappointed. Once on my Booppadee (my pet name for my pet...lol), I had him wear it for the day & it didnt bother him, irritate him, choke him. He even fell asleep. Once up, we took a walk/run & the top ring to attach the lease worked well to retrain as cars passed us. The walk was amazing because I finally found a harness that fit my guy. Good bye, choky collar.As for durability, time will tell. This one was used but look brand new & arrived in it's original box. To the previous owner & pet, thanks.

This harness is so much easier to put on my dog than her last one. I have an Alaskan Malamute so she has a large chest. I originally ordered a large but the strap wasn't long enough so I had to return it for the Extra Large and it is a little small for her. That is the only reason I didn't give it a 5-star. It would be better for me if the front chest strap was adjustable so it would fit further back on her instead of being a little too far forward on her body. The belly strap actually comes directly behind her front legs and rubs the back of her front legs so it is not suitable for when we want to go for a run. Walking is okay. The harness is well made. For an perfect fit I think I will need to have a custom made harness. Not all dogs are built the same. The harness is well padded and soft. My problem with the fabric is that dog hair sticks to it and it is difficult to get the hair off and it must be cleaned every day. A vinyl exterior would probably work best for my hairy dog.

Pros:——- There is only One strap to fasten on this harness : great with an excited dog.—— It doesn’t irritate the armpits because it‘s directed more across the middle of the dog——-The red button toggles : you can lock the strap on .Cons:——-Sizing: I bought an extra large (as my Doberman- German Shepard measured out as) but then had to buy a large because it was too big.——-It does not have a front D ring , only a back d ring. This makes it harder to control my dog.

I wish I would have bought this harness sooner. My 117lb chocolate lab has developed back issues (he is 8) and the vet recommended switching from a regular collar to a harness for our walks. After reading reviews I decided to try this one and I couldn't be happier. The dog and I saw the vet last week for follow up and she looked the harness over and gave it a thumbs up too. We especially like that it is padded throughout the back and chest. The only thing I would change is maybe add some sort of cushioning for the belly strap. I am ordering a second harness today for my female lab.

I was worried and got an XL for my 80lb husky/shepard. I probably could have gotten away with a L, but since I can adjust the strap underneath, it wasn't a problem. He's a finicky creature, but loves this harness and there's no pulling on his neck. Great quality and excellent price!Update:I ordered an L for my 40lb lab mix and it's at the tightest setting. Like the previous harness, this is so easy to get on and off and is very comfortable for puppo. I did add a seatbelt cover to the understrap since she has no fur for protection. She loves it. I'm sure it will last forever like the last one.

Purchased 3 of the harnesses. Great quality when first opening up... however when I opened the packages as you can see by the sizes, there is not much differentiation in a XS (meant for the 5lb chihuahua) and the M (meant for my 42lb dog) which fit perfectly. I even ordered the M for my 57lb Queensland based on previous reviews of large size. 2 of them are going back...Otherwise the quality of the material seems great

It ok for our 8 yr Akita. Having a difficult time adjusting the tension where it doesn't shift over to the side & where it's not irritating his skin from prior surgery. (He has large girth so may just need a different design).Also having an option for front & top hooks for leash instead of top only.It's extremely easy & fast to put on/off for cable-line safety belt when traveling. (To me that's worth the purchase)

Gonna put them on the pooches this winter as they to me are a bit padded for the summer. Now i have 100+ pound Akitas $ of them , so they have a very thick double coat of hair and i just wanted a softer harness for my babies, but in the summer theses are very comfy and a little too much for the summer for my critters. They have a 25X50 foot pen this attached to my rear deck to play in. I have a doggie door also, so during the day for now they lay outside all day,Love this product and highly recommend it
