IR remote can't turn on white LEDs (only controls RGB), otherwise works well
This item includes the power and wifi adapter, an IR remote, and some sticky tape. I got this to replace the non-wifi adapter that came with this item (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JZKF2ZO) so I could use Google Home to control these lights.A couple things I didn't realize until after a lot of research is that most LED light strips have only red, green, and blue LEDs and have 4 copper wires (RGB+power, visible where the strips are cuttable and on the ends). Some item descriptions are unclear, so if the images show only 4 wires, there are not any separate white LEDs. To make white light, all three (RGB) turn on.The item reviewed here has 5 pins, and is designed to control an LED strip with 5 wires and separate white LEDs, (RGB+power+white, or RGBW). The lights can be controlled via IR remote control, the Magic Home WiFi app, or using Google Home (the app, or voice control through a Google device). There are two problems. First, the included IR remote has no way of turning on the white LEDs. It can only control the RGB LEDs. This is really obnoxious, because if I use this adapter then the only way to turn on the white LEDs is to ask Google or use the Google Home or Magic Home WiFi apps. Further, in the Google Hime app, the only way to control the white lights is to set the light color to "warm white" and then adjust the brightness. All the other colors control color and brightness on the RGB LEDs.Fortunately, the Magic Home WiFi app works perfectly. The Google Home integration also works, and overall I am pleased with this. I'd really love to have buttons on the remote that control the white LEDs though, so I have to deduct a atar because the remote lacks them. The first picture shows what happens when I push the "W" (white) button on the IR remote. The RGB lights turn on. Next is a screenshot of turning on the white LEDs in the Magic Home WiFi app. The last picture is with all the white and RGB lights on.

WON"T STAY CONNECTED TO WIFI but EVERY OTHER DEVICE I HAVE DOES...
THis product was easy to connect, BUT it won't stay connected... if you even so much as hit one button on the remote.. it knocks the wifi offline then you have to reset EVERY DAM THING!!!... I should have got a different brand... another thing to know is that there are only 2 colors of white soft and bright so if you use voice.. you have to tell it which white you want or it just goes to flashing different colors ... this is a huge pain as my other LED's don't have this problem.. the app is CRAP! and it's controller board needs work to work with Alexa and google properly .... and stop it from killing the wifi.. that is my biggest problem and frustration.. now I have to reset it all.. and throw the remote in the trash...The only reason I have 2 stars is that the lights are nice and bright..... WHEN THEY WORK...

It's alright
It does connect to wifi and works with Alexa, but you have to use a janky cloud app from Magic Home. Who knows how long they will be around or what data they are stealing from us? If you can find a zigbee controller, that's probably a better way to go. This will get you there, but you can do better.

Not Clear the Power Requirements
The power requirements for this device are not clear. I've had two of these and have burned out both, I believe they are negative polarity w/ the plus on the left. It says it'll take a wide range of voltage; I don't recall seeing amps but it should pull what it needs?
