Battery connector had to be filed down to fit correctly. There were 2 plastic tabs leftover from the mold.

My Nest Thermostat started saying the battery was low in early 2020 so I ordered this battery. I put it in a drawer and waited for the existing Nest Thermostat battery to actually die before putting it in. Skip ahead two years (Yes, the "low battery" condition my Nest told me actually still worked for TWO MORE YEARS!) and it was time to install the new battery. Today, a month or so after this new GAXI battery was installed, my Nest displayed a message saying "not enough power for WiFi," went offline, and I can't control my A/C remotely. Today I'm ordering a different brand battery to install tomorrow...

As advertised battery dongle a fit

Ordered, did not fit my Nest, actually broke the nest trying to install, I had installed a replacement battery 2 years ago, so not “me”, and to further insult, cannot return via USPS, will not ship Lithium ion batteries, and UPS cheapest is $14 (NY to CA). So, I ended up having to replace my nest, and eat the cost of a battery that did not fit.

The battery in the Nest, 2nd generation is glued in - VERY difficult to remove. Not this batteries fault but you can't use it if you can't get the previous one out. And the connector is VERY small to connect it even if you could get it in. Very poor design by NEST

Worked perfectly. Should come with glue to hold in place like original
