Great toy and durable, grandson has been able to break it

My 4 year old absolutely loves it! Came in very good condition. We have several Trackmaster trains but this is our first crash & repair trackmaster and we are absolutely happy that it works well. It's a really good addition to my son's trackmaster collection :)

It works great on the track and all the mechanics work great. We are very pleased.

Love the Trackmaster trains and this train is no exception. The boys loved to be able to smash them and have them "break". I mean, what boy wouldn't love that? Wonderful addition to the Trackmaster line.

The detail is great and the "breaking" action is neat; however when it "breaks" the two parts hinge down and makes this train wider than any of the addon accessories. Thus, it gets stuck at every turn, under every bridge, and generally doesn't work well. This gets played with the least.

the switch didn't work from the beginning. A waste of money on this end, because though it doesn't work, my 2 year old wants to hold onto it.

This review is for the entire Thomas Trackmaster line. We have 2 Trackmaster sets and 4 motorized Trackmaster engines. In summary, I do not think the product is designed very well as it's hit or miss whether the engines stay on the track. This makes for a frustrating time for my son as he constantly needs to place the engines back on the tracks. This is with carefully following the instructions for the track setup. The motorized engines are cool but we just end up playing with them without the track. I feel the Thomas wooden line is a much better value although they are more expensive.

My 3 yr old grandson got 4 Thomas motorized trains and loves them all. He cannot get enough of them.
