The over all appearance of the cage is decent there also a decent amount of room in the cage for the bedding and accessories, putting it together wasn't my biggest fan it was so confusing so I just kind of searched on YouTube and put it together that way.The material of this cage could of been put together properly like the measurements of the cage as there's a gap at thesides of the cage but I've doctoted it myself. If you want more room you cannot put the shelves that come with it in the cage but it's optional.I've not yet got an hamster so I can't comment on how easy it is to clean

Positives:-It's largeNegatives:-Hamsters just chew the cage-Plexiglass windows are a mess (there's marks all over them that won't clean off)-The wood is really thin and cheap-Unvarnished wood not waterproofOverall it's a really poorly designed product not really suitsble for hamsters. An easy fix for this would be to just make the wood smooth on the inside rather than ridged and coating the wood so it's waterproof.

We have a new (huge) 8 week old Syrian Hamster boy.... and as a family that has always had animals, from horses to rats.... and we like them to have room to live.... this is a FABULOUS product. Perfect build, good instructions, beautifully packed .... and very quick delivery!!!!! I didn’t know hamsters could do the ‘happy manic’ thing.... but he ran and clambered, and stuffed his cheeks..... and all with his ears in perky, happy mode..... and I’m smiling too. HIGHLY recommend this product, and this company.... thank you 😊

pros:- good size. giving 3 stars cause more hamster owners should buy cages this size:)- can be improved from it's original statecons:- the quality is really really bad. all the pieces are very flimsy. splinters everywhere, pre assembled elements coming apart etc. downright dangerous cause little limbs can get trapped in gaps and broken, and good luck trying to get a splinter out of a wiggly hamster.........- it's ugly, the sides are different textures, the lid was patched up with a different material (like a tape that was supposed to resemble wood..?)- made of untreated soft wood, many hams will try to chew it and if surfaces are peed on or something they will get damaged and stinkyBUT! i spent a few days sanding everything down, nailed down the gaps, applied some child safe wood varnish in a walnut colour and the cage is transformed. looks well nice and is safe for ham:) so, i would recommend this cage if you don't need to use it urgently and have some time to fix it up! also since it's untreated wood it's a chance to get creative with different colours or patterns it can be painted in. so if you fancy a project, you might enjoy this. if not, best to spend more money on a custom built cage

I bought this cage for my dwarf hamster.It is bigger than the measurements say, so hard to find a place for it.Great to put together and looks amazing!I'm excited to get my hammie to see what she thinks of her new home.Came in perfect condition and early!Thanks, Amazon!

Great item bought by my daughter for her hamster, having the pull out shelf at the bottom makes things easier to clean. It’s a great size for the little rodent who loves to explore

DO NOT BUY FOR HAMSTERS!!!my hamster chewed right through it in one night and escaped luckily he didn't get far and I found him but honestly this isn't a secure enclosure. Buy somthing that'll keep your hamster safe and secure. Trust me this was a waste of money! *update* I fixed the hole and put him back in it, he escaped again and due to the stress of escaping twice he died of wet tail. I'm angry and upset.

I like this product it was a good buy
