Magic 21-24 Carp Bait

Good stuff

I've tried this dough a few different places on its own to no avail. However one thing I have been using it for, to surprisingly good results, has been to hold my fresh/cut bait on my hook. I've compared with 2 separate rods at 4 separate places I fish, with one rod having just shrimp and the other having shrimp with the dough holding it in place. At each place I consistently reeled in more cats on the hook with the shrimp+dough. Now whether it was the dough itself or just that it made the fish work harder trying to get the shrimp off the hook, I can't definitively say. But occasionally on the rod without dough, I would reel in and their wouldn't be any bait left on my hook. On the rod with the dough that only happened once, otherwise I was reeling in a fish or my hook would still have bait on it at least.So in conclusion based off what I have tested in my local waters, the dough on its own just doesn't seem to garner any attention, not even a single bite. But it still has a place in my tackle box to hold fresh baits in place better on the hook. Which may not have been the original intention of this dough, but I was either reeling in a fish, or I still had bait on to re-cast. Can't complain about that! Tight Lines!

I fished with a friend. We were comparing these baits with some homemade dough balls. This bait performed far worse than the homemade versions. We switched rods to ensure we weren't doing something different between us. Nope, it's the bait. The good news is that these stay on the hook well and are easy to use. But, for attracting carp, not as good as cheap home made baits.

I've tried this crap in several fishing spots n in various ways, on a treble hook, on a Jay hook, w/w.o a bobber. On a hair rig like a boiley but only tasters no takers. Sucks Ass n so does the blue berry or mulberry, corn dough, bloody shad, chicken liver flavored dough bait, and others this company makes. BLOOOWWWS

This stuff worked great! Slayed the cats. Stays on the hook also.
